ESO Crashing All The Time! Help?

I JUST reinstalled the game. Like, not even 2 hours ago.
I click 'Play' in Steam, it launches the ESO launcher.
I click 'Play' in the launcher, the game launches, and then crashes not even a second later. Every time.
My graphics drivers are up to date (I updated them after this crash report) and I even rebooted my PC.
Please help; I want to play again!

Here's the crash info:

eso encountered a fatal error. (Error 11)

Steam could be causing the crash, "could be".

When I first started playing (June of 2018) I spent WEEKS of my already paid ESO+ sub trying to get connected through steam. Never happened even ONE time. I lucked into a ZOS store sale early July 2018, bought a copy of the game for $10 US, and bid steam a NOT fond farewell. Never touched steam again for ESO; never had that problem again.

Yeah, I still have to use steam for Skyrim. Hate it.

I had this problem last year and could only play and update the game if I used a VPN. Maybe try downloading a free one and see if that works

ESO might be one of those games which can crap itself if you're not logged into your machine on an admin account, or aren't running it in admin mode. When the client tries to check for apply updates Windows might treat it as malware.

It's a quick and easy one to test.

These instructions are for Fallout 4 but tell you how to set a Steam game to run as admin.

    Launch in Admistrator mode
    Do a Repair
    Close the Launcher
    Close out the whole computer
    Restart
    Launch in Administrator mode
    Hit play

    IMHO

Sounds like a users end issue not a steam issue. Never had any problems with steam.
