It will be a poor chapter that is guaranteed :'(

They will be giving it away free as part of the base game in 6 months or make it part of the daily log in rewards

Probably not. I actually think this one may outsell Elsweyr.

Well since we're already at the subject can someone tell me because I am not sure wheter that antiquities (or however it's called) thingy will be part of base game or will require a chapter to dig into ?

Pretty sure that this is Chapter content, not base game. I expect that when they break up Greymoor next year, it will be something you can purchase in the Crown Store.

    IMO
This will be like Psijic skill line, you need to buy something to get the skill line but the objectives will take you to base game zones.

The game is catering more and more to roleplayers and overland questers, so there is plenty for them to play with, which seems to be what's important now. That being the case, I'd say they hit the nail right on the head.

That's not to say I'm not excited for a new trial. The dungeon designers (legit my favorite people) rarely disappoint.

I wouldn't normally agree with the Telvanni.

    But yes.

I'm not really sure. I've seen both stated (I think.... lordy there's just too many threads around lately) - so I'm just not sure.

I would assume that they must be base game because in the Alcast article I read about them, it said they were hoping to keep building on this system as time went. They generally don't expand upon systems or things added by DLC or Expansions, only things everybody has access to. So if they do plan to keep expanding, logic dictates its something everybody gets.

Not like the dang grappling bow we'll probably never see again... wasted fun potential *sigh* :(

It could work like Jewelry Crafting, though. Since there are skill lines, they could be tied to the Chapter and you need Chapter access for the skill lines and thus to be able to find antiquities wherever they are in Tamriel. They can easily add more antiquities to the world, but you can't find them unless you have the skills, which are only accessible via the Chapter.

I'm not saying this is the case, but I'm saying it's possible. And, if there isn't any other system, outside of a vampire rework, which is basegame, then there's not a whole lot of incentive to own the chapter, outside of the story. Perhaps it'll remain exclusive to the chapter until it becomes a DLC next year, at which point the antiquities system would become base game. Time will tell.

It´s just an overglorified dlc, won´t buy it unless on sale.

    It IS a DLC.

ZO only started calling them "chapters" when they wanted to stop giving them free with subscriptions and didn't want to be honest about that.

In interviews they themselves frequently swing back and forth between talking about chapters as chapters or DLC.
