How hyped are you after new chapter reveal?

I was very disappointed that Falkreath is a dungeon.

This completely broke immersion for me, as Skyrim is a game that I explore. Even intesified by playing it in VR.
Crippling access to a hectical group event destroys this immersion.

So I am glad to see, that we will get large regions integrated into ESO without this setback. This fact alone hypes me.

I never felt, that vampires matched into the medival ambiance of the Elder Scrolls, when I installed the vampire DLC in skyrim, it was like "wtf is this?".

So I am not really happy that they decided for a vampire storyline instead of creating the bridge from the dragons in Elsweyr to Skyrims Dragonborn. But as long as you have enough sidequests, I could accept it.

Elsweyr has many places where you just ride/walk, farm some runestones/mats, but mainly explore the landscape. I hope that this experience will be available in Skyrim too, to recreate the original feel of that game.
I am a bit in doubt, as the Rift and Eastmarch could not recreate the original feel. The mountains feel less majestic, the warmwater pools look muddy, they do not look as "holiday-like" as in Skyrim (remember the hunters taking a bath there?).

The short scenes in the videos though seem to recreate the original skyrim feeling better, I guess they will take more care, as a full blown chapter raises much higher expectations than a small DLC like the Rift.
So my expectation is high, and I d indded feel hyped, hoping that this time they will do it right and finally merge the original skyrim feeling into ESO.

But so far NONE of the Chapters HAVE sucked. Morrowind didn’t. Summerset didn’t. Elsweyr didn’t. All were beautiful and added great content, quality of life improvements, etc to the game.

Say what you will about ESO, overall ZOS is doing a bang up job with the game with respect to adding quality content to their game year in and year out. Preordered Greymoor yesterday.
Chapters are the one thing ZOS just gets RIGHT.

Zos is doing such a great job with content that the most important pvp content hasnt worked it for nearly 2 years

ZOS is doing a great job on PVE content. They usually hit the nail on the head with that content.

I do think they focus too much on Dungeon DLC. (Sorry, Finn) Going into 2020, I think there are 38 group dungeons and 8 trials, including AS. This year will add 4 new dungeons and a trial. Meanwhile, I recall that there are 33 zones, and we will get 3 more this year (Greymoor counting as two, one above and one below). Dungeon DLC are probably cheaper to make than zone DLC.

Of course, World of Warcraft has more than 100 dungeons, so Finn has more work to do if he wants to catch up.

As for PVP, I have said for years that this is not the game for serious PVP, and ZOS is not doing much to counter that statement. I don't know if they are waiting for performance and balance fixes, lack the development staff to really do anything for PVP, have lost interest in advancing PVP, just don't have any good ideas about what to do, or something else. Whatever it is, this has gone on for years.

The fact that the PVP lead is now the combat lead suggests that there isn't enough for a PVP lead to do to make it a full time job. That, more that anything else, tilts my opinions of a PVP future for ESO into the nether regions.

If you play PVP in this game, you really have to accept it "as-is" and enjoy it based on that. There are people doing that, so it ain't impossible.

This poll was meant to measure positive response levels only, hence the title reference to "How HYPED?" and not "How do you feel in general?"

You can't measure positive response levels without knowing how many people don't have a positive response

Right now I'm not hyped. Choosing Skyrim as the next zone doesn't seem well-thought, it's rather seems like giving in the demanding fanbase of TES5. Since it seems that TES6 will be placed in Hammerfell it was sure that we won't go there now... But we will still have places to go on Tamriel.
