    I never denied it. =P.

I love this game, even if I point out its glaring flaws.

This game is the best mmo at the moment in my eyes. However, ZoS needs to do something drastic to ensure it stays so popular with New World coming out.

I think I'm beyond addicted. If I were to draw out every aspect of what I do in ESO people would wonder when I eat, sleep, work, play with my kids or do anything other than rot in front of my computer. Let's just say that those who know me, know how deep I am into this game. I might play less ESO some days to play new games when they come out, but I always log in every day for writs and daily rewards. Even when I do find another game to play, I am back within a week or two, depending if it is a solo player game on my PS4 or a MMO I am checking out or revisiting from a time before ESO.

Its only the best MMO at the moment because lack of good and actually working competition. If something like that happens (I think it's unlikely but still a possibility) before this game is in proper state (still not believing it before its done) I don't think I'll get serious cravings. I gave this game a retry starting from late 2018 and last year definitely was not very addicting.

Check out New World, it is very similar to ESO combat, is also fantasy, and is very in depth.

I definitely spent a year being unemployed and addicted to this game. But lately I just haven't made time for it. Plus, I reached that point where I've done literally all the quests in the game and finished the various in-game collections. Not much left to log in for.

I'm not addicted. I went outside once. The graphics were amazing but the storyline sucked.

Agreed. IRL was pretty decent early on, but it quickly became P2W and very grindy. Would not recommend.

Agreed. And while many people do complain about games quickly becoming too easy but IRL progressively nerfing your avatar is so not cool!

I enjoyed it the first day I played, and still enjoy it to the day. Yes, things could be better, things could be worse. It is what you make of it I suppose. My approach was just start one character and if it was no longer fun, I started another. It’s like a new game, things I had missed, things I didn’t do the first time around, different perspectives according to class, it’s a different game for me, still holds my interest. I play everyday.

Not quite. This skooma's really not good enough for that actually.

Have to admit I was really enjoying it at one point but sobered up right quick after hitting endgame content. The game's performance has been a major deterrent, let-down and the repetition/grind that's required has sucked most of the fun right out. Since the CP freeze and constant nerfs, my characters have gotten weaker. It's like leveling in reverse which is unacceptable for a game like this.

I can see how it'd be addictive for masochists, I guess :/

I'd like to say no, but the number of times I find myself wishing I didn't need sleep so I could play more ESO, has me leaning toward yes.

Addicted overall, sure. The game always keeps me coming back every patch, but if I ask myself, I feel like there really isn't much to do anymore. ZOS is very slow at releasing meaningful content. They're very good at releasing more of the same, just reskinned content.

Personally I want something new that completely mixes up how the game plays and it's been a long time since I've seen this from them. I feel like ZOS no longer has that fire under them to make the game more fresh since it's honestly doing quite well. Games always seem to progress a lot more when they're under threat of being forgotten. Look how much the game progressed in the first 1-3 years. ONE Tamriel, Thieves guild, Dark Brotherhood, and Homestead were huge for me, Morrowind did feel new with our first new class and Battlegrounds, but now they've done that formula 2 more times and I can't help but feel they no longer have that desire to push the envelope.

If we get another lame fetch quest story line (psijic order) for a 6 skill guild skill line I'm going to be very dissapointed. That is by far the most annoying guild skill line to level. Veteran players not interested in creating a new class need more ways to play the game. They need to let us expand on our existing characters more.

I still feel spell crafting could accomplish some of whats missing. We will see what they come up with in 4 days (stream for Skyrim). Fingers crossed they're thinking outside the box here!

No I'm not, I'm addicted to RPGs and books. Currently I haven't played ESO for about 3 weeks... but I'm playing some of my old single player RPGs and reading my fav books to "recharge my ESO batteries", but I'll back ;)

I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.

"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter.
