Three wishes for pvp in 2020

ZOS can we please have some changes to pvp mechanics to make pvp more fun.
I know that you are working on improving the code, so I won’t speak about lag. There are however 3 simple things you can do to improve the pvp experience quite a lot!
1. Combat bug, this is the most irritating bug in the game its not fun to run from on keep to another and miss the fight. You did allow us to port in while battle, so let us mount in battle to. It’s not game breaking, anyone who try to mount in a real fight will be dead asap.
2. Campaign points, the present system is unfair why should the few playing when the population is low have a bigger impact on the outcome, than the rest of the players? Remove the present campaign tick underpopulation bonus, instead weight the campaign ticks with the (number of players online)/ (max population). You could at least try this solution; it should be easy to implement.
3. Hammer, as it is today the hammer produces lag, since everyone is stacking on it, in addition the alliance with the highest population mostly gets the hammer in the end and thus the strongest faction profits from the hammer (mostly the one leading the campaign). Give the hammer a campaign balancing function instead, block the faction leading a campaign from using the hammer.

    One big thing they could do that would be easy, get rid of the emperor keeps. It funnels everyone into the center circle and encourages zerging.

    Make it instead that you emp when you control a certain % of the map.

    Faction stacking lagging out your opponents shouldn’t be a pvp strategy.

    Population is always one of the biggest issues in a MMO with this type of 3 realm PvP (not including technical issues of course). During non peak hours it is easy to get non balanced population spikes which lead to uneven scoring, all scrolls being taken by one faction, easy Emp etc.

    It is an impossible issue to compensate for completely but it would be nice to have some adjustments to make the off hours scoring work out more evenly.

    1. Fix the horrible lag/disconnects and poor performance in general.
    2. Rework campaign scoring completely, I agree with OP on this.
    3. Fix the bloody stuck in combat bug, or at least let us change quickslots and mount in combat with some disadvantages/restrictions if the bug cannot be fixed.

    3 i'm pro faction lock and anything that makes the campaign mean more the better so there's a bigger picture. If I want instant gratification I go BG.

    I would just like to see performance fixed.

    The lag is just horrible, and seems to be getting worse (I don't think the hammer is the problem, lag has been an issue since day one). I can adapt to not being able to switch bars, or not being able to get in a keep, but we shouldn't have to. The game should be playable.

    I wish I could always run away when needed but my opponents shouldn’t be able to.

    I would say to keep working on communication overall. It's been better I will give them that. This being said, if you look at all the suggestions and bugs part of my signature, they haven't spoke about any of them during the Live Stream yesterday announcing Greymoor. The only thing they mentioned is that they fixed an issue that they introduced themself trying to optimize the game, putting the general status of the game back to 3-4months ago on that aspect.

    We need more communication and more acknowledgement to the community of the ongoing issues and work performed to deal with them in a timely manner. Some of them, like the combat bug, could have been dealt with easily and entirely since a long time ago and if not, at least with a bandaid fix. The community suggested several ideas on that matter.

    • Fix Volendrung (spawn location - weapon white on the map causing the wielder to keep it forever - usable with emperorship)
    • Remove / Change CPs System, remove current CP/noCP campaigns and introduce one 30days with lock, one with no locks
    • Fix crashes when approaching a keep under attack because of bad / wrong rendering prioritization system
    • Change emperorship to value faction score points and not alliance points - see this and this
    • Fix long loading screens (mostly caused by players joining group out of rendering range)
    • Add 2 more quickslots to the wheel or add a different wheel for sieges weaponry only
    • Fix Balista Bolts not dealing damage on walls or doors if deployed at a certain place
    • Release bigger battlegrounds with 8 to 16 players per team and only two teams

    • Gives players 10 minutes to get back into Cyrodiil after relogging / crashing
    • Add a function to ignore the Claiming system of useless rewards

    • Make snares only available from ground effects abilities
    • Change emperorship to last minimum 24hours

Hammer - agree that it produces lag, but this is not a problem of Vollendrung but of the lacking performance that needs to be fixed, and no, I don't think anyone should be blocked from using Vollendrung. Why should I be blocked from taking Vollendrung when the faction that I happen to be playing on (but for which I am not playing) is leading? Especially this should not be the case as long as there is faction lock.

    And that brings me to my own main wishes:
    1. fix performance!
    2. remove faction lock!

    1. Minimum / no lag - It is weird that you have to take into account "lag" when you make a PvP build...
    2. Scoring (potential points) calculation overhaul - to minimize morning / night capping impact when populations is low (Because now it is PvE that decides who wins PvP campaign).
    3. Volendrung removal.

    Yep. No point in wasting time on anything else! ZOS are proficient at that already.

    I wish...

    1. Devs would stop making changes based on spreadsheets and gameplay on in-house servers with zero lag.

    2. They would use Battle Spirit to disable all proc sets in Cyrodiil. They won't rewrite the game from scratch to fix the 6 years of shoddy coding, nor will they build it on a modern, capable game engine. So taking away 1/2 of the calculations would be a gigantic step towards improving server performance.

    3. The devs and programmers would take a month each quarter and run a few hours each day with guild groups, medium groups and small groups. Play with actual paying customers so they can see first hand what we have to deal with and overcome every time we step into Cyrodiil. Get on TeamSpeak or Discord with us and listen, follow instructions and experience what we experience.

    but lately am just playing imperial city only.

    you cant play PVP add all the last half-year. it's too laggy and always have skill delay.
    Zeni max keeps pushing PvE content.
    about 60% from the mega sever wants to play PVP but don.t because it's too laggy
