ALT ACCOUNT for listing items in TRADER banned for no reason, no response from support. Please help.

One of my alt accounts was banned (xbox/NA) and I don't understand why. I use this account to list items for sale in the trader. I do not interact with people or trade with people on this account. I sell luxury furniture items and other items from the craftbag/inventory or personal guildbank of my main account. I have never interacted with any chinese farmers or farmed in low level areas on this account or done anything remotely shady. The account is level 10 and has a cute outfit on. I have never done anything that violates TOS on this account, or on my main account for that matter. I had a lot of high value items from the lux vendor that were on the account that got banned, not to mention a lot of gold from recent sales.

There was another thread where this happened to another player, but before I could add to it or ask questions, the thread was closed by admin. There are other people in the game that this has happened too, and none of us know why it happened or what we should do. It seems we only use these accounts to sell items in the trader, this has already been confirmed to NOT be in violation of TOS.

I followed the directions on how to recover an account that has been suspended or banned and I submitted a ticket 3 days ago, but I have not gotten a response or email confirmation that my ticket was received. I submitted another ticket this morning but still have not gotten a confirmation email or a response. I normally get email responses that my ticket has been received almost instantly, so I'm not sure what to do now. The most recent ticket number is 200105-004618.

I have other alt accounts that I use for the same purpose: I log into these accounts about every 1-2 weeks and list items for sale in the trader. I transfer the gold to my main account, and I spend that gold buying furnishing blueprints and overpriced housing mats, and motifs to make cool outfits. I've been doing this for 3 years with multiple accounts, and have never had a problem before. I dont want to lose any more alt accounts, so if someone at ZOS could please let me know what went wrong and why I lost one of my accounts, and what I can do to get it back, I would be most appreciative.

    I don't know anything about alt accounts but I did read one thing in the tos a while back about running them concurrently was a no-no.

    Did you log off really fast from your main, crash etc or otherwise select the option to not wait for the log off countdown? the game might have thought you were still logged in on that account.

    You should probably write a support ticket on this and when asking on the forums for help you need to tag a gm and have the ticket number in the post.

    Submit a ticket and reply to said ticket, posting here wont do any good as we cant help. Let's not forget 3 days ago still counts as holiday.

    I would think that having multiple free accounts for the purpose of getting around the storage limits of non ESO plus could b seen as an issue.
    I know that officially you can have multiple accounts but it comes down to how they are used or can be perceived to be used, because there is also this part :
    5.1 Users are forbidden from using any unapproved third party applications, programs, scripts or any other game modifying mechanic used to change the game play experience on a ZeniMax Game, Service, forum, or other games or services provided by ZeniMax, including the distribution of said programs via ZeniMax services, sites, forums, communities, etc. This would include but is not limited to using or distributing speed hacks, aim bots, mouse controllers, spam bots, automated game play devices, etc. Third party applications are defined as any program, application or script written by an individual, company, corporation, or private party not employed by or contracted to perform services by

    And this could mean possible add ons used to interact between accounts or whatnot.
    We are coming out of a holiday week, two weeks in fact so be patient and the ticket should be resolved for you soon enough

    I guess ZOS is clamping down, and mule-ing items to a different account and listing them for sale are flagged as suspicious activities, since that's also laundering behavior being tracked..

    If running alt accounts at the same time is not allowed, be carefully that you LOG OUT of each account, instead of just using the QUIT option, since apparently there was some kind of bug that was making it look like people were still logged in despite the fact that they'd quit out of the game. At least, I think that's what was going on. Someone posted a screenshot showing a guild roster where it looked like people were logged in, yet some of the information that's normally listed-- such as what zone they're in, what alliance they are, what level they are, etc.-- was missing from the guild roster.

    List your ticket number(s) here and be aware that starting a new ticket probably reset your problem's position in the Support queue.

    This needs to leave the forums and go directly to ZOS. There are rules against discussing enforcement actions on the forums for a reason.

    Just contact support. Call them if you have to. They will point blank tell you the exact reason your accounts were banned. If you were not doing anything nefarious in 99.9% of cases the ban will be lifted.

    I already contacted support and have not heard back. There is no phone number or other alternative way of contacting them.

    This thread is relevant because other players are confused and being affected by this. If the policies/TOS have changed and having alternate accounts to sell items in the trader and then transferring the gold back to your main account to spend it on gear or mats is going to get your alt accounts banned, the rest of the community deserves to know.
