I spent a lot of time on lighting, shadows and such. I also make sure how they look in "daylight" and in "night time". I design most of my homes in the vein of the character they were designed for. I make these homes as homes I would live in if I was that character. Remember, these characters are world travelers and like most people who travel the world, they bring back souvenirs and such. But I do have exceptions. My Halloween home Cliffshade is an example of that. So is my newest one, Antiquarians Alpine Gallery. (Which is still a work in progress, and I strongly recommend seeing this one at night.) BTW, I upgrade my homes from time to time as well and I have not had time to do "pathing" on all my homes as of yet. Eventually I will get them all done. Well mostly done, I will always upgrade at will.
I like adding subtle nuances as well. As the saying goes, sometimes the devil is in the details. I enjoy when people visit and see the work I have done. I realize it is not to everyone's liking, but then nothing is now is it. I do enjoy looking at the ingenuity of some of the people here. I've seen entire homes setup as fish tanks and well done at that. I've seen the Grand Psijic Villa done as a reasonable copy of "Hogwarts". I like hiding small details to see if people see them. Like the baby crib in Domus Phrasticus who is owned by a Female Necromancer, lol.
Well time to play, so thank you for your reviews. I appreciate the kind words and for showing others what I have made. Take care and good luck!

You miss sooo much from many peoples homes. I'm still implenting it in many of of homes about have it on maybe a quarter of them so far. Gardner would be one of those. If you have it, turn it ON and go back to enter the basement. I'm surprised I never noticed it till now. But many of us who go to the trouble to install those effects would appreciate everyone being able to see them. I know I work hard at picking which one to use and how to use it. What color or size or shape, etc. It is part of what I do to make it just a bit better. Thanks and good luck!! (oh this is a request btw, I don't to seem like I'm demanding)

Hiya Doctor! I'm a huuuge fan of EHT and use it every day and in every home. I went back to your Gardner to check and it seems your fx were not uploaded to the community server. Do you want to try again to see if they get uploaded? Happy to revisit when they are up!
