Name for Khajiit ?

Because I want to create a character and I want it to have a name that matches the ESO, I read about the names Khajiit and I don't think I understand it a bit...

Does anyone know if they have differences like the name prefix at the beginning or at the end? Skub'bi , S'kubi , Skub-Do , J'Skub , S'kub-Do , Sco'oby...does anyone have what idea?

In English it is more Scooby in my language (PL) it is more Skubi...

Or my cat's name Thaddaeus (PL : Tadeusz) Thad'daeus, J'Thad...

Or my name Thomas (PL : Thomas) Thom'as , J'Tommy...

At the top it talks about what prefixes and suffixes mean. There is even differences between gender.

It has a surname list too, so that will help.

I think using a program to translate to polish the page does not work.
Because the page does not have honorary and dishonorable prefixes.

the diagram shown, are all the known prefix and suffix options currently known, their gender forms and meaning. (Info comes from an in game book that you can read.)

You might be getting tripped up by how the games Arena and Daggerfall handled names. because those games, to save data-space. used a list of prefixes and suffixes to create random npc names. This kind of works like those name generator websites.

My advice, stick to the stuff from the diagram at the top of the page, and add your chosen name, then borrow a surname from the Arena and Daggerfall surname list.

This way you are sure to get your chosen name, while at the same time having a Khajiit name.

Khajiit's long lost brother returned home unexpectedly from the cold north on Fishmas day yes.

So Snowstorm Claws is now staying with the rest of Clan Claws for the time being.

When he has recovered his strength and we have talked about business plans he will then return north next year when the borders to new and interesting lands open up.

Naming advice from this one. A family surname. Then tell us about this new apprentice of yours. Where are they from? What do they do? Much easier to give someone a name if you know them well yes.

I'm going to make an interesting suggestion:

RP your Khajiit so he/she was raised in a different culture!

Brand-Shei. Obviously an Argonian name, but... He's a Dunmer!

I can imagine there to be quite interesting story-telling opportunities with such a concept.

I'm a D&D player and frankly the most interesting PCs are the ones with unusual but completely realistic and logical backgrounds.

...hmm ? a valiant cat from Tamriel, a sorcerer, a student of magic and white weaponry (2H) and not only (Bow)... and what kind of a figure do you think fits that figure, body build...

It's not easy to find a Khajiit name who fit lore and pleasing you at the same time.
It always took me more time for Khajiit than any other race ^^

It should look the way YOU like it. You'll be looking at that toon a lot so, best make it look pleasing to you. And since that is a subjective thing. As yourself: Do i want to look at a male or female cat? What colors and patterns do i like? Non of the sliders of how your toon looks translate in to stats values. so it's all just how you like your cat to look.

Honorifics in Khajiiti naming isn't given at birth, they're titles given to reflect their social status or profession. Your character doesn't have to have a name that follows that. Frankly the way Khajiiti names are, you can throw random sounds together and it'll seem Khajiiti. Look at mine for example.

Ka'atali - A combination of "Kat" and "Tali", the latter being the name of my favorite Mass Effect character.

Dehyesha - A name taken directly from the main character of the Schism series of Science Fiction novels I read in school.

Ta'azanni - As with Ka'atali, to be a bit more exotic I extended the 'A' sound at the beginning. This one was literally me putting random sounds together.

All this ones Khajiit or 8 of 10 characters starts with Zar except one as Khajiit was drunk.
My account name is Zaria, name sounds cool, this was back in Daggerfall, this one got seasick playing Khajiit in TES 3.
Ran into another Zaria as an Redguard alchemist in Falckreach in TES 5.
So made Zariba my main magsorc, secured Zaria with an an disposable bank alt during pre order.

So there are honorifics that can go at the beginning of a name which have an apostrophe, J’khajiit or honorifics that go at the end of a name Khajiit-dar, which is hyphenated. You can even go J’khajiit-dar (which is fashionable in some places).

Then you also have the Tamrielic titles: Snow-Paw, Fire-Whiskers, Healing-Pounce. Tamrielic titles are often cat themed and different than the Argonian that has three words: Faps-In-Closet (although in rare instances the devs seem to interchange these).

Then you can have them raised by another family, although khajiit they could have been raised by Nords or Orcs.

Other than that have fun! Don’t think too hard because it’s not like you won’t be playing along side: xxx420weedwizardxx.
