Meeting An ESO Celebrity In-Game

Passing through Rawl'kha and enjoying the crisp refreshing December air I notice a flash of red and white in the distance. Could it be…Santa? I must find him; I’ve been a good girl (mostly). I rush forward with the excitement of a young child only to find...@Saucy_Jack being, well, 'saucy'. Not exactly Santa, but you’re my second favorite person in red and white. Stay saucy!

Only ESO celebrity is Sleeps-on-Bridges as far as I'm concerned. Very pleasant to run into.

Edit: To be a bit more on topic, I have seen a few people I see frequent the forums in zone chat. Mostly on NA though.

If you see someone yelling in all-caps and cursing like a pirate in Deshaan or Wrothgar zone chat, it's probably me yelling at everyone in the zone for one person leaving a chest partially looted.

LOL... yeah, sometimes things, uh.... escalate, and it's almost always amusing :P I'm @AeiaTheHuntress in-game, which is probably why you don't recognize the name (my forum name is my stamblade, who I don't really play on much anymore either).

Most of mine have been pretty serious. People get heated. Still don't recognize it as there's honestly very few I do. I main EU and I've never recognized anyone from the forums there, so I guess maybe NA is also just more active on the forums. Or maybe the name-knowing culture is also just more connected to the NA for language reasons.

Yeah, I don't expect people to recognize me or anything, but if I were to be recognized for anything, it'd be that. I don't think I've ever recognized anyone either, even on NA.

I've seen Nyladreas in Cyro zone-chat. And a while ago I was one of the many that got handed their own behind by a Finnish all pet-sorc zerg in Cyro, (led by?) Edenprime.

I’ve seen Saucy Jack a few times... he was stalking me one day. I’ve also seen Fengrush in Cyro... completely coincidentally the hammer seems to spawn when he’s on.

I ran over... er, ran into... I mean, ran past Sleeps-on-Bridges in Auridon the other night. He was just lying down as I was heading toward the bridge, and at first I couldn't figure out why some NPC celebrant was keeling over on the bridge, until I got close enough and saw his character name. I was watching a streamer on Twitch, who was in Cyrodiil attacking a keep with others in her alliance.

One of the enemy players runs up to her, starts bouncing around, and says "ARE YOU A STREAMER?" So of course she added him to her ignore list. He never tried to attack her, just kept bouncing around beside her. I don't know if he got yanked out of the game, or what, but eventually he disappeared.

I felt the same way when I first saw Sleeps-On-Bridges (@Fug_Muffin, but no forum profile), and again when I noticed they're in one of my guilds! It was after I'd read the PC Gamer article, and I was starstruck, haha...

Same thing when I saw @BenevolentBowd -- I couldn't help running up and just /clapping for all their dedication to the community
