Hey Gina, big improvement from UK to NA server, it went from ~350ms+ down to 140-150ms, this is fantastic since it was ~180ms previously, thanks alot !
It still starts timing out when i tracert to the NA server but ingame all is good !

Interestingly enough, my tracert still indicates my signal bouncing around Chicago before heading to the Netherlands, then to Cambridge, MA, then back to the Netherlands, then to the UK. For living in the Midwest, USA, that sure seems like going around the block to get next door.
Glad things are back to normal. Hope there's a lesson learned here somewhere...0 -

Bagatur✭✭✭Nothing changed for me, it actually much worsened on NA, its now mostly 500-600 ms, totally unplayable, up from 400 when poblem started. Usually to NA it is 200 ms.

✭✭✭✭✭Considering the page after page of complaints concerning Akamai you have to wonder which really is the greatest threat to ESO. The possibility of a DDOS attack that they are suppose to prevent, or Akamai itself. I’m beginning to believe the latter.
However, adjustments they are making at ZOS headquarters right now are causing fluctuations in latency, by their own admission. Seems to be a combination of things, rather than a single culprit. Although I don’t understand why server traffic is routed to the other side of the globe, just to be sent back again. Definitely seems counterintuitive.

I ran an updated tracert and now going through the correct access point via LAX Akamai vice Australia Akamai. My ping dropped to around 170 instead of the 340 it was at.
