Can we get an acknowledgement and resolution to the 12/18 maintenance ping issue please?

Out of curiosity - what is so hard about 250 ms ping?

How does your gameplay change in PVP/PVE ?
What is harder now compared to <100ms ping?

On PC NA my ping is still generally under 100, as low as the 60s and on EU it is generally under 200 and as low as 160. These are about what I normally experience.

So it would seem some players are being routed differently then they used to be and others are probably still routed the same as they have been.

The former is the server.
The latter is not.
It doesn't matter what correlative evidence you have suggesting the server is to blame because suddenly a thing happened. Your issue could easily be explained by someone along your route to the sever spilling a cup of coffee on a router during ESOs maint cycle.

If EVERYONE isn't having the issue then it is most likely NOT the servers fault but rather some part of the ISP chain between you and that server. Unfortunately, it's usually not a router your ISP can control itself so frankly, you are SOL till whoever broke something fixes it.

All zos can do is ask nicely and get told to *** off by the far larger and more powerful T1/2/3s.

Yeah accept everything else from my isp is routed normally. I tested Google, WoW, and a bandwidth speed test to Dallas tx, and all goes the correct and normal path. Why all of a sudden after the maintenance is Zos the only one that routes through au. If it was the ISP or another hop point than all my traffic would be routing through au. Not a Zos one off. Either Zos or a Zos routing provider like Akamai changed something with their routing or ip addressing scheme.

Double posting here, but check your bandwidth in task manager when running eso, friend noticed it was throttled by the last windows 10 update and had to be set back to high.

I can confirm the same thing happened to me. Have never had any issues with the game performance till about 5 days ago. Consistant 300+ ping. Game was unplayable. I have 150+ Mb/s dl speed. The past 2 nights it's been normal though, 70-100 ping. NA

Acknowledgement of performance problems drop on the same RNG rate as sparkly unicorn droppings.

But it's nearly Christmas, so you never kbow

I have only ever had around 270-300 ping.
How do you mean the game is unplayable?
What happens in PVP or PVE?
How does it affect your DPS or other skills?
