so now that Skyrim is confirmed. lets assume they are sticking the whole thing in there for now. What other major places on the map are left? I know there's a big empty space in Black Marsh. But would they return to the swamp again? Why not just include it when Murkmire dropped? There is the big chunk to the east of Vvardenfell. And then what? Are we nearing the end of places to go?

There's large parts of Cyrodiil and Hammerfell missing, as well as the last chunks of Elsweyr and High Rock.

-Blackmarsh, murkmire still didn’t hit the spot of Aztec like cities and temples for me. Want to explore my inner Indiana Jones

-Hammerfell, huge area left. Lots to do/see/discover in the sands there, but es6 is being set there so doubt we will see there for a while

-Cyrodiil, imperials really haven't had much cover other than gold coast. So think a chapter will be set there at some point hey we might even get a PVE version of the current map helping them rebuild from the attack and war-dragon break-

-Daedric Realms, each Prince has its own realm. Deffo chapter worthy, we can only go freely there and back from coldharbour atm. So 15 realms left, plus loads of others as well.

-Other parts of Nirn, islands, seaelfs spring to mind. Or other continents but do think those will be full blown expansions not chapters.

    Loads of places to go.

Leyawiin with Southern & Eastern Nibenay Chapter + Skingrad & Colovian Estates DLC looks good for an Imperial year. A good place for the now godlike (and greenly magical) Abnur Tharn to reappear (Abnur Tharn himself has become the weapon that will end the war in Cyrodiil).

Telvani peninsula Chapter + Necrom DLC for a year of disastrously ill-judged Telvani badness. Sounds good to me.

Swamp + more swamp for a whole wonderful year of Lizards, swamp and more swamp. Hopefully the devs won't do that to us, and instead take us off-world to the Deadlands or somewhere nice like that.

ESO's Year of Hammerfell is contingent on the BGS design for TES VI, so the good lord alone knows when that will come to pass.

Even after the Heart of Darkness DLC/Chapter drops there will still be a lot of Skyrim left. At the moment we have less then a forth of Skyrim playable. I doubt we'll see the other 80% open up in 2020.

Cinematic at the video game awards. Ending showed the Nord Hero overlooking a snowy river valley amongst mountains, and the Q1 content is called "Dark Heart of Skyrim".

Skyrim will most likely not be fully completed in this expansion. We will probably get riverwood, whiterun and winterhold and we’ll get the rest, Solitude, Morthal, Dawnstar and Markarth in a different expansion.

    Completed zones:

    •Summerset
    •High Rock (unfortunately)
    •Valenwood (really unfortunate)
    • Most of Elsweyr

So what’s left is Morrowind, Black Marsh, Skyrim, Cyrodil and Hammerfell.

EP has the most zones left, DC has a good chunk but AD has none if you don't count that tiny sliver of Elsweyr between North and South (we will probably never see that either, too small for any DLC which sucks)

There is so much room for underground, there is room for almost endless chapters. It is even possible to go back to previous zones.

Well, the map highlights quite big parts of the cake of Tamriel which are still scroll-yellowish colored:

    - High Rock, country of the Bretons:
    island of Balfiera (high elves)
    - Hammerfell country of the Redguards:
all the southern part (minus Hew's Bane) => kingdoms of Hegathe, Gilane, Taneth, Rihad... maybe some islands too
    - Elsweyr, country of the Khajiit:
the strip between north and south, basically the Tenmar forest with Torval and Corinthe + the eastern part with Alabaster
    - Black Marsh, country of the Argonians:
all the core of Argonia, between Shadowfen and Murkmire...
    - Morrowind, country of the Dark elves:
Dres lands around Deshaan, Necrom, the Telvanni peninsula, Port-Telvannis and its archipelago (all the eastern part) + Blacklight and the Redoran holdings on the coast between The Rift and Vvardenfell.
    - Skyrim, country of the Nords:
    almost everything
    - The Reach:
    everything
    - The Empire, country of the imperials:
the Colovian states (minus Gold Coast) with Skingrad, west of Cyrodiil + the Nibenay, all the south-east from Cyrodiil
    - Valenwood, country of the Wood elves:
    almost complete
    - Summerset, country of the High elves
some islands yet to discover, like Moridunon

Even then, some parts that are already on the map remain hidden
    even...inside them!
Many uncharted mountains in Valenwood and Summerset, uncharted hills and coasts in Rivenspire, and so on!

Last but not least, the instances.
Dungeon-type places are already "out" the open-world map while beeing on Tamriel (Scalecaller in winter version of mountains in Stormhaven for instance).
    also Sheogorad (north of Vvardenfell)

True, one day we should go to Pyandonea (and Maormer getting playable race) ...unless ESO would die before.
    Remnant of Yokuda.

The other day maybe Akavir countries...

    Atmora...

    Aldmeris, if it even exists.

I rather liked Murkmire and loved the Elseweyr chapter and zone I would love to see the region at their border given some love.

Elsweyr shows it to us. We will never have 100% of Tamriel. The area with Corinth and Torval is too small for a DLC and too long / flat...
I therefore doubt that we have the entirety of Skyrim and its western kingdom more precisely.

As with Colovia and Nibenay, I doubt that we have all of these areas.
With Colovia, should have Skingrad, Sutch and the sister city of Skingrad: Sarchal.
The area corresponds to a Chapter size while the Nibenay is far too big.

We will never have PvE Falkreath and PvE Bravil. Falkreath is a dungeon and Bravil is too close to the PvP area.

At first I thought of a piece of the western kingdom of Skyrim in Q2 and the Reach for Q4. Ultimately I doubt that this is the case.

I assume that some kind of dlc or expansion will take place on the colovian side of cyrodill. Remember that if you are on the gold coast and follow varens wall, you will come to a gate door that has an action to open it, its just inaccessible at the moment.
Also there are the daedric realms, and there are other parts if nirn such as akavir, and the place where the sea elves come from, i forget how to spell it so i wont even bother trying to name it. Then there is still the likely course of action wich is to lay down new storylines in previous geographical zones. Also, they could make small sections on the map, that are massive to play through in scale to your character traveling through a zone.

They will be retaining the "neutral" space between the Alliance zones right up to the end, so those gaps may get smaller, but won't disappear. Having a direct border between two Alliances creates a two-way, instead of three-way conflict. The Skyrim expansion will probably use up half the space, so Reach/Haafingar, or Pale/Whiterun, and since the Nords are Pact, it's more likely the Eastern half. But a Reachman (Breton) West isn't completely out.

The same considerations will apply in filling the other two radial separations, and I'd expect the new chapter zones to abut the Alliance ones in sequence, so if Pact gets western Skyrim, then Dominion would get Nibenay, and Covenant would get Southern Hammerfell, after that. If it goes in the opposite direction, the new chapters would occupy Colovia and the Tamriel East coast (Telvanni and Argonian lands).

There's enough space for six more years, but the last three would close the gaps, and I don't know how they'd handle it.

Lots of Oblivion Realms left to explore and who knows what other places exist outside of Tamriel.
The small piece between Northern & Southern Elsweyr could be filled in if ZOS did a DLC that included two small zones that would equate to the size of Murkmire or Southern Elsweyr.

Like a piece of Elswyr and a piece of Black Marsh that have a feud
