What synergy do I avoid using as dps?

Use all of them unless, as the above commenter said, the healer has dropped something right on the tank during a fight that is heavy on the tank's resources. Usually when I see someone taking a synergy I use that as a prompt to send out more, so use them!

In normal groups, I'm taking most synergies I come across unless they're pretty clearly placed for the tank or I see that another group member's resources are down because my build gets a huge dps bump from them (I get whatever bonus the synergy itself gives + a light attack bonus for consuming any synergy). That's too much DPS to give up unless it's obviously needed by someone else. Shards I always leave for the tank regardless.

Now in DLC dungeons, it's a bit different. There are a couple of dungeons/mechanics where the tank really needs those synergies and I'm not going to touch them because if he/she dies, we all die.

I throw out 5 per rotation, blessed sharts is the only one I keep an eye on, if I see someone ding that I chuck out another. Always use them.

I just pug normal non-dlc dungeons typically, but I'm one of those tanks who does his job, and holds the boss still. I'm standing in the one spot, so if you throw a synergy on to me, I'll assume you meant it for me and pop it.
