is Fennorian a light source?
They’re hiring for multiple games, hence the glut of openings. It’s a normal part of the business, thus I have no feelings about it.
ZOS is making a new MMO, I doubt any of the new hires are additional resources for ESO.

Again then why state it exactly like this "Hiring for ESO and other projects
If there was not a significant amount of eso spots open then why even state it, why not just say "hiring for new game"
Jesus it gets annoying saying the same thing.
and FYI this is the regular employment page.. https://jobs.zenimax.com/jobs .. shows many more positions open, so to say those are just all the opening at zos atm for other games is a laugh

I get this point of view, but let's also think of it this way. If eso did not lose alot of devs, then why state "for eso and other projects" they say other projects like its a side note. If they were developing new games and wanted devs they would just say "devs needed for new game" and then have like "costume artist" listed for eso job.
Granted none of us know the inner workings of how they operate but I think to say "they are hiring for other projects" and leave it at that is a little...well I'll just say don't be am ostrish

Maybe someone quit and is being replaced.
Also it is not uncommon for software studios to hire for pieces of work and then end their contract with the resource once the piece has been completed. It is entirely possible someone is being hired for 6 months to work on something and their contract will not be renewed once said work is complete.
Don’t take everything at face value. ZOS workforce is very fluid and is likely to fluctuate throughout the year depending on the tasks they have in their workflow. New hires happen all the time and generally is not indicative of additional resources and new investment.

Still though, is a big shift in people and resources good for a game with so many problems? Maybe they are bringing in people to fix them?... Maybe they are not and leaving the next team with a big mess? Maybe they are abandoning eso like some people even think.
A big shift in personel doesn't seem good to me. And again I can't get over the fact that they felt the need to include "eso and other projects" with such a big list of important positions. Like if they did not need a lead gameplay, server, and the couple others for eso why not isolate that and say hiring these for a new game.

Yes, and it gets annoying seeing the same pointless discussion being launched in a duplicate thread. As you say, the hirings are for ESO and other projects, so why would anyone get either excited or afraid?
