*No More DLC*

No matter how OP the monster sets are. Not until there is a considerable effort made to fix the many broken systems that ZOS continues to compound by mashing more repetitive content on top of. And for gods' sakes enough with the kneejerk rebalancing and nerf sweeps. Enough homogenizing class skills.

The load screens, the cyro lag, BG ques, LFG tool - someone else keep listing cause I'm bored. These things need to be the focus. Nothing else.

I am coming back to the game and will happily pay for ESO plus and costumes but ONLY if I see performance improvement. I am not buying another carrot and stick DLC and pretending this game is getting better. I hope others can join me in this.

Sure because everyone rushes to buy the dungeon DLC, end of sarcasm.

Sure things need to be fixed and personally I would not be opposed to a delay for more new content, question is how long would that delay be, they have known about some of the issues with the games performance for years now and yet we are still bringing them up to this day and most likely in the future.

Without the fix of new story content on the horizon, people eventually move on to other games, the poor performance is only exacerbating this, since its interfering with long term players ability to do the repeatable group content that is suppose to tie them over till the next lot of content is released.

Question is how much longer is the die hard fans patience going to last before they jump ship as well, maybe ZOS will take notice when it starts losing is whales from the game.

While it would never happen for various reasons, best way to send ZOS a message would be for players to avoid spending anything or at least as little as possible over Christmas, if crown store sales drop during what should be one of the busier times of year, it should make player dissatisfaction crystal clear.

100%, whilst the current base has so many issues why consider even releasing new content? And yet they will....

I have a feeling the board doesn't really care about the future of this game no more. It seems to me this game past its zenith and even though there is now more than usual amount of players it's because the past years were successful and not necessarily that the current changes were done with the hope for this to last. Basically last push to milk this for what it's worth before shutting it down in like a few years.

This is a wild conspiracy but if there was no way to fix the dated engine and piles of broken code I would expect them to keep good appearances until the moment they could jump ship.

I'm probably just being cynical. There are enough people enjoying this game and have no problems.

There is little sense in that. Mostly, different people and skills are developing new content than those programming game engine. I want new DLCs AND problems fixed at the same time.

They won't stop putting out new content, whether it's something non-DLC like the update introducing housing or DLC or a Chapter.

I would say no to your rant.

Even if they have bad PR it's still generating free PR for the TES franchise. Sad but true. I even had friends who ask if they should play and I tell them yes because there are tons of content and the stories are great.

If you're in the small minority who plays just through the base content and never raids, PVP or does dungeons then you'll hardly notice anything is wrong, again sad but true.

Even if you may not see it, there are tons of people still playing the game with or without issues. I only find the ones complaining more are on the forums. While in-game there are folks who have no clue what is happening.

why does this keep popping up? no way I'd play the game if there were no more DLCs. I don't pvp and i hardly ever have any connection issues. and it's really not fair for those of us to keep everyone without dlcs' because pvp people are having problems either.

Where have you been the past two weeks and, for that matter, where were you in 2017 and 2018 when the Undaunted event took a dump as it did this year and, wow, it was the PvE'rs who suffered?

I've been playing this game since launch 2014 and I enjoy all aspects of the game, not just PvP, but I for one agree that they need to focus on fixing these issues instead of releasing more new content. A lot of these issues have plagued this game since launch and still have not been fixed. My husband and I have both been subbing since July 4th 2014, non-stop, we have purchased $1000's in Crown Packs, and have purchased every Chapter that has been released, but we both agree that when our renewal comes in the first of next year we will not be pouring anymore money into this game unless they fix these issues.

Oh and let's not forget the constant issues that others who play on EU servers have almost every week, PvP or PvE!

It is not just pvp having the issues, I was decorating my house and lagged out and crashed. I want dlc's also but I say get the game fixed FIRST. Stop with the dlc's until the game is fixed then start again. I would love to have a game that works instead of a constant new dlc

Well, and to keep everyone else from leaving. MMOs that stop releasing content are ones that are dead/dying. That's the problem with all these "live" games - there has to be a steady stream of stuff happening, or it's not "live" anymore.

stop any new content will only make everyone leave. i know I will. and i¿ve been playing for some years and never had any issues other than a randon occasional disconnect once in a while. even now. i've been playing for hours.
so i'm not saying your problem isn't real or important, but punishing us that play only pve and haven't had any issues and enjoy the dlcs without new content to fix a problem for you, when there's abslutely no confirmation that such a thing can even be done, or that it is related to making or not any more dlcs is wrong.

My only serious issues typically are:

    1. Inventory management is annoying (not a bug)
    2. Ran out of story

We are already down to 2 narrative DLC a year. No need to reduce further. I'd be fine with ditching dungeons if dev resources are needed elsewhere. I'd also be fine with ditching the events. Honestly though, game generally performs fine when playing through the DLC.

OP mentions stuff that doesn't matter to many of us waiting for more DLC, like balance or sets.

The use of 'carrot on a stick' makes no sense in the original post. DLC narrative content is giving me the carrot. No stick involved.

These posts are pretty silly at this point. Wait until ZOS has finished their roadmap for fixing systems. When they are done and things are still a mess, bring the topic up again. Harping on this in the middle of the process makes it sound like you haven't been paying attention.

First of all I have been playing since launch, and yes we all have random disconnects, and issues. I am not saying stop the dlc's completely, I am saying FIX THE GAME FIRST then go back to putting out new content at this time there is more then enough content in game to play, something new to do everyday. I dont think some time to get the game fixed for everyone before new content would hurt anyone, that way ALL would enjoy the game

@craybest Get past your delusional beliefs "but punishing us that play only pve and haven't had any issues and enjoy the dlcs without new content to fix a problem for you," once again, the forums as well as Official post from ZOS have confirmed that the Pve dungeon finder during this latest Undaunted event is broken. So who got punished for this issue? And as I said earlier, the same thing happened in 2017 and 2018 as confirmed by ZOS. Lmao.

And as for you leaving, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't hurt ZOS' bottom line. The fact that I am in five guilds that have been around since 2014 and we all see friends leaving the game every week due to performance issues and constant changes, others planning on leaving if those issues are not resolved, I'm sure will eventually start hitting their bottom line.

Way to not even mentioning that there's no relation between more dlcs or no more dlcs and fixing server issues. Like I said I mainly do pve exploration and quests. And I haven't had any issues in the hears I've been playing.
You actually think they can fix all the server issues if they wouldn't release any more dlcs? Evidently they don't know really how to fix the server issues or they would have been fixed by now. Or they fix them and new ones appear.

Doubt this will happen. Zos learned their lesson that not providing new content is s sure fire way to unleash a mass exodus after the first year of the game.

Besides, those who create content tend to not have the skill set to work on bugs. Heck, a story writer would have nothing to do if creating of content ceased. That is just one example.

Management just needs to get it together. They need to bring in people with the proper toolset, vision for resolving the issues.
