[Furniture Suggestion] Grappling Post

Grappling bow mechanic was surely adding some fun to the game lately, but have you considered into adding an functional furniture item to use in our houses?

I made a really wonderful forest with lots tree huts, vines and bridges for one to travel around the place but now I'm just thinking it would be lovely if I could place some grappling posts every here and then, I could use to get to some secret places hidden among the trees.

I like the grappling hook. It’s very early days Assassins Creed. I can see it being developed over time.

It would be hilarious having grappling posts around your houses.

What if we had it in PvP. You would have to buy the grappling post and hook separately. You could put the post down in a similar way siege is used, then others could use the hook. The post would have a limit to the number of times used (perhaps 5X) and only have 1 up in a radius similar to forward camps. They would also be alliance locked, so 'spias' couldn't exploit it. Have the posts be slow and noisy to put up. Something like 20 seconds with the hammer emot, to give defenders an opportunity to react.

This would mean people would be more proactive in clearing a keep after it flips.

And of course one of the first comments there is also from someone who doesn't understand the conecpt that different teams work on different things.

And no, not in PvP. Grapping (via DK chains) up to keep walls was disabled for a reason.

I vote super-yes, but we already had a poll like this for functional vine-grapple thingies from Murkmire. They gave us the plant as a furnishing, but it wasn't functional as a grapple point.

I mean, from my EXTREMELY limited point of view vis a vis coding, for a normal interactible it's simply

interactable distance = a
furniture state = b or c
if interact = true and furniture state = b, then set furniture state = c
if interact = true and furniture state = c, then set furniture state = b

For a grapple hook, it'd be something like
interactable distance = much larger a (so you could grapple from far away)
grapple position = x,y,z
if interact = true, then play grapple animation and set player position x+5, y, z (to put you in front of the grapple point instead of inside it)

I dunno. I don't code whatsoever.

I will start with: I am really not into housing and cannot care less.... but this sounds great! I would get myself 2 or 3 of these just to clime somewhere I should not be in my house ;-)
