Well it breaks fown every year and they took 90 days to "overhaul" it and it still broke... then it took 2 days to fix what 90 days and the last 5 years couldn't? lets just say confidence is low on what must be the 5th last minute patch in a row.

Yeah last weekend was kindda rough for PC. Tyvm Gina and ZOS for adding an extra week to the witches festival. This is My favorite by far and I will for sure enjoy a great couple of weekends ahead!

Why are people obsessing about getting 28 witches writs? You only need 13 to get the hat collectible and title. I did it on my NA main last night.

you could buy random witch writs and sell them if they are not bound. Most stuff from the event merchant is bound, so I don't know for sure. Once you get up to 4 feathers + your first snow berry (assuming you already have a nascent indrik) tho, you're right, the event tickets are not much use - unless you have a second toon that could use the Witch title (via buying writs).
Maybe just take a few days off from all the trials and arenas, take it easy and ignore the tickets?

I don't see any need for ZoS to offer further "compensation" though; we're already getting a bunch of extra loot via the plunder skulls (furnishings, alchemy mats, and so on).

I really appreciate the extension of witches festival (although I don't care about events anymore), but imho the costs for ZOS for this extension are nearly zero.

A real compensation should include a small amount of crowns and/or a free extension of ESO+ membership for those players who experienced heavy issues during the last days AND are paying their memberships!
Just my opinion, maybe someone @ZOS may think about it.

Just amazing. I hoped for an extension but I didn't expect to get the opportunity to earn 14 extra event tickets. I think this is very considerate and generous.

TBH they should give a month of free ESO+ to everyone. Especially PC-EU that has been plagued with problems. The service has been too unstable for far too long.

@ZOS_GinaBruno You guys take a lot of heat 24/7. Some of it warranted, some of it not. I just want to say thank you for what you do and the overall great game that has given me HOURS and hours of enjoyment and allowed me to meet some nice people. It's easy to forget that with all the complaints there are many more things to say thank you for.

Otherwise, I would not know what to do with all the event tickets until Nov, 11.

Alternatively, releasing the berries of the last Indrik again would also be cool.
Because I did not manage to get the last berry during the last event.

Hmm.... Just as I thought, ZOS is gonna go with the bare minimum and hope people will just shrug it off and accept that *** happening is just the normal state of things with ESO.

Extending a timed event was the absolute least that had to be done. In my mind, there was never any doubt that it would happen. Those not affected too much by the recent troubles, who play pretty much every day anyway, will go all yay and grind some extra tickets. Me included.

Those who were hit hardest by the issues with logins, who do not have the opportunity to play extensively each day, will now just have to accept the scrapping of their original plans, and try to fit their schedule to the extended event, while still feeling all the anger and frustration caused by the problems the game had.

Fixing things is one thing, compensating people for their lost time and aggravations caused is another. And just fixing the issue, isn't anything worth praising in my mind, It's just basic customer service. Acknowledging that you effed it up, and offering your customers a small token of appreciation as a compensation, would've done a lot to mitigate the long term negative impact caused by the incident,

The cost to ZOS of, say throwing us a handful of crown crates, would've been negligible. The amount of goodwill, and the feeling of ZOS owning up to its mistakes, and that there is no reason to worry, when things go south, ZOS will have our backs and do us right, would've been enormous,

But whatever, it's not really my job to teach ZOS prudent business practices. The player base, however, is still seething and the anger is lingering on it like a malaise. And trust me, when the next thing hits the fan, all the resentment caused by this debacle will resurface and exacerbate the next crisis even further. That's why I strongly suggested doing the extra step and trying to placate the masses.
