Report of my evening spent on PC-EU trying to play.
1) Took me about 1 hour to login with 4 alts, trying to ecover some set pieces needed for leveling my 2 new necros (I was trying to use the XP boost). Problems encountered during this phase: disconnections, "user already logged in", "unexpected error", "unable to connect to server" and so on. When, 1 time out of 5, I have been finally able to reach the loading screen, login times on any toon was about 5-6 mins spent on loading character (sometimes with disconnections in the middle, for inactivity --> restart the whole process!!)
2) when finally online on my desired final alt (the one I wanted to level up), I tried to arrange a 4 men-group of with 4 of my guildmates in order to run a random dungeon. We were in Discord all the time, knowing exactly what was going on on each other. After a successful ready check, 2 were immediately booted offline , while the other 2 were stuck in their zone without jumping in the dungeon instance. People that were booted relogged in (going through the bloody step 1 process again), only to find out that our group was stuck in "readycheck in progress" state. Can't queue, can't disband, can't leave the group! We went all 4 offline, passing through the bloody "loading screen" gates again (with random disconnections in between for some of us!!!!). After trying for about 20 mins, some of us succeeded and relogged in, only to find out that the group was still there, and the toon was still stuck!
4) With 4 alts "locked out" from any group activity, we relogged on another 4 different alts, and tried to form another group. We queued as 4, queue time was about 5 minutes and still the dungeon didn't start. So we tried to leave the queue: 2 were put out of queue, 2 remained still queued. And again, their alt stuck: unable to abandon the group, unable to queue, unable to do any ***.
We gave up, and all logged off.
My advice: If you are not going to hotfix the PC-EU server, please bring it down for maintenance as soon as you can. It's unplayable anyway.
EDIT: I'm glad that a maintenance announcement has been posted while I was writing down this post. Let's hope this maintenance is going to fix the current situation.
