✭✭✭✭I'm getting really high ping spikes in the evenings lately, generally between 18-21 CEST although my internet connection is fine. Anyone else having a similar experience?
I've been having that on both eu and na servers, ever since they said they fixed the issue with the routing through australia... ping spikes to the red region frequently, whereas it used to do that only rarely before. Since that routing issue, I've also had freezes, wherein the game events continued (for eg., if I was in a fight, the fight would go on, etc.) but my screen gets frozen, and then it fast forwards to what has happened while I was frozen, sometimes I have died in the meantime, and so on. It's very frustrating
I only get those in the specific time interval. It climbs to 400-500 ms, sometimes higher for a couple of minutes, then decreases to where it sits normally, around 70-90 ms. At start I thought it was something wrong with my computer and network equipment so I reset both my ISP equipment (I have 500 Mb/s fiber connection), my local router, and my computer, but the problems continued, so I reckoned it's server side. Maybe a congestion problem due to increased traffic during the event since it started shortly before Christmas.Beta tester since February 2014, played ESO-TU October 2015 - August 2022, currently on an extended break

I don't think so....
I got that yesterday 4 times in a row when trying to log in to get my tickets before maintenance started. Managed to log in on my fifth try.
Usually I only get that error, alternating with some other familiar faces such as "couldn't connect to server" during the busiest times. Was surprised to get it at 8am, and that it took so many tries to get in, since typically the next attempt after the "account already logged in" error message will go through.1 -
SmukkeHeks✭✭✭✭✭The “u sure internets works?” are just plain spiteful. I have a nine year old in the house whose whole purpose in life is based on a 24/7 connection to YouTube. I would know if the connection didn’t work. Y’all know how? By the howling coming from the dungeon that is my sons room.
Loading then dead is like being asked to perform mathematics the day after you got introduced to margaritas. Impossible to navigate through!
And why have weapon swap and abilities when neither of them works?! What’s the point?

Nope. I tried redeveloping the entire internet, launching my own satellites into space and establishing a new 100Gbps network to ensure a valid internet connection. Then I tried logging in on a different account. Worked perfectly. Clearly not a ‘my side’ issue.
It seems that despite 4 consecutive days of maintenance, ZOS can’t apparently stop booting players and then blocking them from returning to the game. Great start to 2020.

This game is unplayable at those times. Yesterday we had a 30 v 30 Fight in cyro, pc EU no cp , at sej for like 45 minutes and there was no lag whatsoever. 6 o'clock hit, and it just went in the drain.1 -
Papachico✭✭✭✭Lag is so bad at the moment on the PC EU Server. Starting from 3 PM still late night. For a PvP player that only can play in the weekend the game just became unplayable. Pitty.1

Not to derail the topic but has anyone been playing since 2015, or off and on and realized that nothing has changed? I very much remember the same threads and the same error messages popping up for EU players.
EU server issues, outdated graphics, somewhat boring classes and animations drive me away from this game. I can live with the other 3 negatives but being kicked from EU server randomly each day is a joke. And because of this, I have chosen to play BDO (Black Desert Online), but I know that once I hit lvl 55 in BDO. I will be extremely bored from the grinding I will face.
It makes me sick how they can pump out DLC and cash items and not do anything about the servers. I want to play this game but it's difficult to do so when you're getting kicked from loading screens or just doing your own thing.
I have posted my issue to log in with the thousand threads there are in the support section, but will not create a ticket because me creating a ticket to see from support "Have you tried this?" isn't going to work with me when we all know it's your servers that suck balls.
Don't wanna be rude but this is poor and ESO is the only game that is suitable for me.2 -
Golnebo✭✭✭I can't progress beyond character select screen. Game starts loading and then I'm back at the character loading screen.
Also when I got in earlier after ten tries, I wasn't listed on any guild roster.

{Daisy Deathbringer} - Foul necromancer that likes to hang at funerals and graveyards. Mostly plays with the dead, does not deal much death.
{Major Defiler} - Lovely necromancer who likes to study life. Puts the word romance in necromance.
{Cindiana Jones} - Defected Templar. Very deadly in Battlegrounds. Likes to wander around Cyrodill.

McStuntySoul ShrivenI have no doubt they have their top tech guys on it , i suffered from large blacked out areas of buildings textures,terrains.
I opened a ticked and luckily after 4 days i sent them an email with screenshots of the problem , they quickly worked out after only another 3 days that there weren't enough ports open on my router and that lag was causing this issue.
I am therefore extremely , nay supremely confident that we will have state of the art working lag free servers and a balanced well tested gaming environment sometime around the release of Amazon's New World around April or May
Personally i blame the players who do not pay monthly for eso + , by not supporting the game developers we have deprived them of cash with which to upgrade the servers and hire more staff so its our fault really
