Curiously, zone chat appears to be broken.
My main is currently standing in Mournhold... and there is NOTHING in zonechat. For 20+ minutes that I've been there.
I even posted some valuable items to chat that I'm giving away for free, usually these clear out quite rapidly... also nothing.
... first and foremost want to address the issues we’ve been experiencing with our <name> server this past week. It’s being very stubborn and every time we think we have it nailed, it decides to kick some players from various areas in the game and won’t let them back in for a while.
Not a great experience for anyone and I apologize we haven’t fixed it already. We believe it’s an intermittent hardware issue, making it difficult to isolate, so we’re rebuilding that server and will deploy a new one later tonight.
We’re going to have to take the European servers down, but we’ll look to get it done while most of you are sleeping. We will let everyone know when we’ve completed the effort...

Sunday is one of the days I have more free time, and like to catch up in the game. But I can't log in and when I retry, it says I am already connected.
ZOS really.... take a look at how other companies manage their games. I don't want to name them, you know who they are, their servers work seamlessly. I played an other MMO for years, which celebrates 15 years now, I don't remember 10 years ago being worried about server performance, not once, not even during world events, before phasing technology. How do they do it? I l really like this game, many people do, so it is a shame you do not invest more in stability and performance!
Could you dm me the titles? Asking because I don't think I've ever come across an online game that had their servers running seamlessly.
Not defending ZOS or the current state pf things with this. We've long since passed absurd and descended right into full on Shivering Isle madness here. In fact, think uncle Sheo could do a better job with this, at least the erraticness would be an expected feature. I'm just curious.
I can tell you one... PC NA

FF14 is my gold-standard for server and overall performance.
