Let Us Bulk Fillet Fish

I tell my guildmates if they filet the fish for me they can keep half the Perfect Roe. Without any add-ons for console, it's just a pain to filet them. There seems to be a "perfect timing" between filets that keeps the animation going smoothly, or else you have to wait a second if you do it too early.

That would be so nice. I know I can just sell them, but I'd rather filet the 5k+ fish I have in my bank for the row. I'm taking it slow. I had almost 7k a few weeks ago after I got my first Master Angler.

What do you mean your first? You can't seriously wanna do it again?

Could you still get your Perfect Roe from mass filleting?
I don't see why not, since in theory it would work the same way as mass refining for raw mats. I imagine it'd just apply the probability to the whole stack instead of each individual fish (or however it handles the RNG for determining how many tempers you get from refining raw mats). Speaking of...

Have they confirmed that there's no difference in the probability for bulk refining? I know in theory it's supposed to be the same thing, but consistently since they changed refining, I have gotten sucky extractions if I did them in bulk, but the same as I ever have if I do them one at a time. I really hate that they changed refining because of that, and I would worry that it would be the same thing with fish.
I haven't noticed a change either way. Sometimes I'm lucky with refining raw mats, sometimes I'm not. I get them at pretty much the same rate I did before they introduced bulk refining. I think you're just having some cruddy luck with the RNG, since if there was a serious decline in overall average rates of getting tempers from bulk refining, there'd probably have been a good number of threads about it. As far as I remember I've only seen maybe one or two about it since they introduced bulk refining, and nothing really conclusive was drawn from those iirc.

I completely agree. Here's my thought: Perhaps fish could be treated like ores. Move them to the crafting bag, and "refine" them at the cooking station?

Obviously rare fish should remain in the normal inventory.

Should defenitely be added to the game, especially for console master anglers since they can't use the filet fish add-on.

But, looking at how long it took ZOS to add multi-craft to the game...

It'd be really easy to implement using a Crafting station. Just allow fish to be "deconstructed". And now that we have mass-deconstruction, it's feasible whereas before you'd still be stuck with 1 fish at a time.
