be more entertaining to watch.

- murder everything in Cyrodiil and BGs. show us high end solo play and/or well synergized group play.

- do hard PVE content like Vet Trials Hard Mode or Vet Dungeon Hard Modes.

- show us your effective builds in action by game mode. don’t necessarily have to share the build if you don’t want. highlight the game’s theorycrafting depth and reward for creativity.

- give meaningful commentary of what’s happening on screen

- lighten up and crack some jokes

- show us some swagger and attitude

I dunno, I think several are entertaining. For sure some aren't my thing, but they appeal to other people. Maybe you just haven't found the crowd you enjoy watching.

I barely watch streams, I rather play my self, then watch other people play. But I'd say ESO is quite good in terms of streamers, not as heavily monetized as many other games. The only thing I really dislike is when streamers think or pretend to be good at the game, when they are not. You don't need to have build guides just because you stream, you don't need to answer every question, it's okay to not know everything. Oh, and those subscription/donation alarms, I know people want to make money, but it's just super annoying.

Depends on what the streamers are doing. Building streamers or people who help you learn to do builds, or pvp, or whatever you are into, aren't just playing the game. They're sharing and educating.

Some are cool people. But, yeah, it is more fun hanging out with them than just watching streams.

That's the weird thing about streaming, as opposed to a video LP, because it is interactive. When you're watching someone like @Ninja614, or @xynode, you are interacting with them, so it's not just, watching others play it.

It can also be fun when you're multitasking, and can't take the time to login. Like, if your work environment is somewhat lax.

I don't watch streams or gameplays, I'd rather play something myself. As for ESO streams I put them on when the drops are enabled and go do something else (usually sleep as they often come at night in my timezone). So I wouldn't really know about entertainment value in those.

Streamers are like tv shows, just keep looking until you find the ones that are to your taste. And if watching streams in general isn't your idea of fun then you won't find much to your liking. The good thing about streaming nowadays is there is literally hundreds of people to give a chance to.

For me personally I'd agree with other comments, half the entertainment is joining in with the community of the streams. It all depends on what you're looking for. I hope you find some suitable for you soon.

I enjoy the mechanics and build videos at times, along with previews of upcoming houses, events, and sets. They put a lot of time in that I do not, so I’m not going to knock them.

Better streams is better for the game. Hopefully we can gather some helpful feedback for the streamers.

I don't know, I think they do ok for what they have to work with, first watching people play games is boring, I can never do it for more than about 5 minutes, it's more fun to play yourself. Even when I do watch twitch it's just for the prime drops while watching Hulu or netflix or youtube or prime on the other monitor. Next this is a boring game to watch, its just a bunch of slow moving people, circles on the ground and rolly-polly stuff, the graphics are old, and outcomes lack suspense, you know the ending like a Nancy Drew story. I applaud them for trying and staying at it, it's a tough medium to hold any interest.

Xynode is always entertaining and actively engages his audience. Classy Kate is pretty entertaining as well. Just my opinions though.

Not everyone is streaming for you, OP. I stream a ton and it's usually PVE questing with no commentary, purely for my own archival purposes.
So through endless twilights I dreamed and waited, though I knew not what I waited for.

Yah. I’m sorry I made this thread. I ruined someone’s day.

I’m pretty sure average viewership of 50-100 people per stream is not good.

If I was a streamer and it was my livelihood and was taking it seriously, I’d appreciate some constructive feedback.

How much is a green screen, dual computer set up, the best audio and video equipment, time spent designing good content for the stream? Sounds like a lot of work that a streamer would want to get some sort of return on investment.

I turn on twitch occasionally hoping for bad ass content and am left disappointed most of the time.

Sometimes I’m stuck at work running reports that freeze up my computer while they run and I’m itching for some ESO. I’ll mostly watch dungeon and trial mechanics though.

The vast majority of streamers won't have the best audio equipment, video equipment, a dual pc setup, or even a green screan. Even a full time streamer doesn't NEED that stuff. Most pale l people are jay streaming to have fun and make some side money.
