The Indrik is a step in the right direction but in game mounts more organically connected to play, that you can fully unlock on the spot, would be a lot better.
The mount system needs work in general.
Imagine if we could have more control over the training. Level speed by running around, endurance by taking hits and crafting armor for your mount. We could craft our own saddlebags too...
Flying mounts please (make the game a 3 dimension one !!!) also under water content!!!!! WOW does it. ESO feels like a small fantasy world almost all zones are the same. Also less cosmetic things for example the pets they are wortless we cant even make them fight each others like in WOW

Nah. ESO is just not set up for flying around... it would require a lot of reconstruction of the world (to avoid grafic mishaps that look okay from the ground, but could be seen as "stzage props" from above,), and that simply is more effort then it'd be worth. It also would require a lot bigger invisible walls and that would mean a lot more physics calculations and that means a lot more lag. And they'd have to ban them in cyrodil altogether...Flying mounts please...

If the training applied to the actual mount and how often you ride it or how much trotting and jumping you do with it, would that mean we'd have to "level up" each individual mount after we get it?

But that ship has sailed, been set on fire and sunk a loooong time ago.
Now, they want all those crown store profits... so most of the nifty stiff will show up there.
BUT!
Rejoice, they DID give out more goodies for questing lately! Outfit bits and other stuff with elsweyr quest completions, without having to buy anything in the crown store except elsweyr itself!
So... that is the best we can really hope for.
But yeah, I wish we could get more added like that, perhaps for the old content as well... (heck, I still think they really ought to remove all the "disguise" items upon quest completion, and add the visuals as costumes, it would lighten the load for many a inventory... I also would love to see all the stealable "civilian clothing" be deconstructable to learn for outfit system visuals...)

Maybe outfits and pets could be found fishing, mounts could be dropped by dungeon and world bosses (like in most other MMOs) and/or tamed in the wild, skins could be earned by more than just doing pvp or veteran content (but those should still have unique skins of their own). Maybe we could craft mounts and pets if they're constructs too.
Maybe our mounts could level up with usage as well as with daily training, which would encourage us to really roam around.
I want to find exciting things while exploring that can add to the visual and horizontal progression of my character.
ESO has such a big, exciting world, it's a shame there's not more to find.
And this is all coming from someone who is usually subbed to ESO +.

Yes it would be fun af, but the game engine would explode with flying mounts.
I like the idea that mount training could be advanced by actually using your mount. Having to pay through the nose for 6 fricken months to fully train your mount is just hideous....
More and varied things to find and discover also sounds good. There are many areas of the game that could do with a bit of imagination being applied to them.
mmm i dont belive that there are flying dragons birds etc its just another axis for controls(i know that they said that)
I wonder how long they will keep the game without a big core revamp. Players will eventually notice that the only thing new they have to offer besides annual new zones and 2 dungeons are reskinned horses.VaranisArano wrote: »Flying mounts please (make the game a 3 dimension one !!!) also under water content!!!!! ESO's physics doesn't support flying mounts or underwater combat.
That being said, I would love to be able to snipe flying mounts out of the air in Cyrodiil!
The problem with something like more mounts being in the game is that people would then buy fewer mounts in the store. This is the inevitable consequence of people wanting everything free and not being prepared to pay a subscription. I appreciate that the OP is a subscriber, but plenty aren't and it's reasonable for ZOS to find other ways for them to contribute to the game's revenue without disincentivising them from doing so by putting everything in the game anyway.
