We’ll likely get Elder Scrolls 6 shortly after PS5 release by which time this game will be insignificant.

They are saying and Sony is hinting that the PlayStation Now service will be the backwards compatibility for the PS5. ESO is already on PlayStation Now. This is actually a good thing because you can play PS1, PS2, PS3, and PS4 games with this service and it’s pretty cheap. This lowers production cost of the PS5 console considerably which is good for all parties involved.
Microsoft has a similar service as PS Now but I don’t recall the name of it. Since ESO is on PS Now I think things will be good to go for awhile on PS 5

ZOS needs to make a statement about this because Holiday 2020 is right around the corner
Will the game just be backwards compatible and be on ps4 and ps5 or will ps5 have its own server? I'd imagine if its backwards compatible then most if not all of the issues ps4 has with the game will be shared with ps5?
Backward compatible is given, PS5 will be able to play all ps4 games, this will work much the same as for pc games. Will the game just be backwards compatible and be on ps4 and ps5 or will ps5 have its own server?
