We all know that Blastbones are wacky and unreliable in PvP. That is why I decided to make this thread in which we will brainstorm ideas on how to fix it.
Please post your ideas... and since this is brainstorming - for once RESTRAIN yourself from judging other people's ideas regardless of how wacky/stupid they seem to be.
As the whole idea of brainstorming is to let everyone feel safe with spouting any ideas that their brain comes up with.
After enough ideas get posted I will update this thread to phase two in which we start commenting on each idea.
I'll start:
1. Make Blastbones immediately jump toward the target. Bonus damage is based not on travel time like now, but on distance.
2. Turn Blastbones into a homing projectile that goes through walls. But you cannot target through walls so Blastbones go through a wall only if a player hides behind it after being targeted somewhere else.
3. Make Blastbones immobile after summoning but it charges a spell that shoots a projectile.
4. Turn Blastbones into Wardens Shalks but with different animation. Instead of beettles there are skeleton arms reaching from the ground.
5. Turn Blastbones into a skeletal wywern that hovers over Necromancer charging a projectile attack that can be LOSed.
6. Change Blastbones into a rotating whirlwind of bones around necromancer. There are X targetable conglomerations around necromancer that can be targeted and destroyed. After a Y number of seconds all remaining conglomerations shoot towards the target.
