"Place this shining pile of treasure in your home and receive lootable bags that contain random items, collectibles, and riches."

    How does this work?

I'm also not seeing lootable bags....in fact, I see nothing to interact with in the entire treasure pile at all.

    PS4 NA

About that treasure pile, its poorly or incorrectly worded.
The huge treasure pile is only a furnishing item (Collectable though, so can be placed in more homes).
    Its not interactable.

The "lootable bags" are actually a box, within a box, within a box, within a box, within a box, within a box, within a box.... like nesting dolls. Its in the inventory of the character that accepted the free treasure trove from the Crown Store.

Scroll through your inventory and look for the item that you've never seen in your inventory before (thus indicating it is "new" to you). Its called Narfilaargus First Offering. Open it. You will receive some new items, and an item called Narfilaargus Second Offering. Open it. You will receive some new items, and an item called Narfilaargus Third Offering. Open it. You will receive some new items, and an item called Narfilaargus Fourth Offering. Open it. You will receive some new items, and an item called Narfilaargus Fifth Offering. Open it. You will receive some new items, and an item called Narfilaargus Sixth Offering. Open it. You will receive some new items, and an item called Narfilaargus Seventh Offering. Open it. You will receive some new items, and an item called Narfilaargus Eigth Offering. Open it. You will receive some new items, and an item called Narfilaargus Ninth Offering. Open it. You will receive some new items, and an item called Narfilaargus Final Offering. Open it.

*Use your imagination to replace each instance of "Narfilaargus" with the correct spelling, which is "Nafaalilargus's"...

Really P***ed. I did't see anything to say that you needed to claim your reward from the store. I've been waiting for them to drop :'( Not happy that this wasn't more widely communicated.
If the rewards were really that important, a normal person would seek out information on how to claim ... before it was too late. Not sit idle and wait for something to happen.

Just to throw my 2 drakes in, I noticed your "_ESO" after your name. That means you have been here since beta, and yet you missed all the notifications about this?
But your not wrong. I had to ask in guild chat about "Treasure pile", but the info for rewards was communicated every where!!
Sorry you didn't see it... :(

In all seriousness how would you have them communicate it? It was on the forums, on the website, in the login notifications (in game), and I assume social media.

    They also sent direct emails.

I don't know how someone could miss the login notification covering half of their screen at every single log in.

OK, I don't read the forums every day, or even every week. Maybe I missed the login notifications because I have a life and do other things whilst waiting for ESO to sign in rather than sit and stare at the screen, especially on those occasions when logging in is taking a long time, or just plain isn't working (which I recall was the case around this time) and I certainly didn't receive any DM's.

Then again, maybe I'm just going blind in my old age :)
