This is the 12th berry event this year - 4 for spring, 4 for summer, 4 for fall. I can’t go double check right now but I’m pretty sure that this is the first event that leaves base-game people stranded in the cold unable to complete their indrik.Xbox NA1 -

Yes. Thieves Guild/Dark Brotherhood have been exclusive to those DLCs, as has Clockwork City. Sometimes when the event is exclusive to a non-base-game zone they give people free access to the zone for a period during the event, and sometimes they put the zone on sale. This is a case of the latter: Elsweyr is on sale during this event. Also you can collect tickets in Moongrave Fen if you have access to that dungeon DLC and don't want to buy Elsweyr.

✭✭Both iterations of the Thieves Guild event, the morrowind event, the 2018 Clockwork City event, and the recently passed Wrothgar event would have all left base game players without eso plus with no ticket earning. In dungeons what matters is the last boss, as it has happened in past ticket events.

✭✭Tickets aren't earned until the end of the dungeon. This is done to prevent people from grouping and then dropping as soon as they get their tickets and spoiling a run for those wanting to complete the dungeon.6 -

This is not new i mean if you dont have eso plus you would have missed out on a lot of the events this year so complaining you have to have elswyere is just silly.10 -

With the exception of the second (unscheduled) TG/DB event every DLC event had a free ESO+ trial. 5 days, 10 tickets. Enough for a berry.8 -

That "no one" could also include ZOS. Maybe the delay in the last berry event was due to discovering the opportunity, negotiating the terms of this charity event, and doing the programming.
That said, surely someone would have realized it would potentially lock out the last berry and pushed witches up and moved this event down for the first Q4 berry.
They could then even have made the first Q4 berry cost 20 tickets AFTER the charity event, to make the charity event attractive to do.Edited by Dusk_Coven on October 4, 2019 6:32AM0 -

They replaced a FREE event with one that requires a cash purchase. You can’t even use crowns because it’s a glorified dlc “chapter”
