With all the hype around Battle-Royale games these days...who wants to bet this new "mystery event" will be just that! ROFL!!

    I thought the new thing was battle royale games are dying, consumer fatigue + flooded market.

    It wouldn't surprise me. I see that as more of a new game mode feature that would highlight an update and not so much an event as we're led to believe.

    — They always claim they’re “investigating” the causes, but in reality they’re just waiting until the PC EU players go to bed. Once that happens, you can suddenly log in again and they happily mark the issue as Fixed.

    Actually, my guess is a PVP event of some sort. Wheeler will be in Cyrodill as an non-Alliance player and people will have to chase him around and kill him for AP.

    There will be not Battle Royale for ESO. Ever.

    It doesn't work on games when you can build 100% for not dying.

    Only if he runs around as a dragon with 10,000,000 health, flies, and in general causes utter mayhem for all alliances.

    If you are talking about a brand new character, that would basically be a complete new game, not ESO.

    I just don't think it fits at all unless you basically make another game.

    I would bet 10 dollars that it will be this year Summer Fall event. Also the reward will be the Elsweyr home which was never released despite being on PTS and ingame.
