They should fire some people. Start from scratch...

They did that. This is the result.

When you don’t have a clue, you make deadline targets never ending (we are currently investigating, formulating, working on...... blah blah bla) and spurt out rambling justifications.

And hope everyone buys it while you ‘kill it’ all the way to the crown store

And that is the problem. IMO every class should not be viable at every role. You just end up watering-down the class. I believe each class should be better at certain roles than other classes. That's what what makes each class unique.

Except then you get the Magdens who can’t do damage, the Magplars relegated to healing duties only (again in the damage front) StamDKs who can only be tanks...etc

It appears that that is exactly what some people around here want. Something I've begun to realize is that somehow the concepts of class and role have become one and the same in the minds of many people, and that somehow class identity has everything to do with being a tank or a DPS or healer.

Nice post. It is a result of a min-max mindset that there can only be one and exactly one solution and that the end justifies the means. There is nothing wrong in trying to do it right. But there is a borderline. Beyond that border is bribing in sports, horseshoes in boxing gloves, extortion and doping.

15 years ago i started as a warden in EQ2. I was able to heal a whole zone, but it took forever to kill a badger. This was ok back then, because there was no solo content and you couldnt leave town on your own because all was group content. Even overland. The good thing was that no sets existed and i could play as i wanted. But a few years later the mmo hell opened. Class slavery, tanks on meme quaterback attitude, dps ballerinas, no groups because you where not the FotM healer class. No more !

I hope Zenimax really keeps standing against this multiplayer hell

I don't mind some changes if they will do a overhaul of the classes, and after that they will stop changing abilities and skills by 67%.

But after they are done, they should give us class change tokens, because I would hate to don't like how my main plays after the changes.

    ESO Class Identity:

Stamina : 1 bar: rending slashes, rapdid strikes, execute, passive slot, passive slot, ult: most likely DoS.
2 bar: endless hail, poison injection, caltrops, trap beast (shield or buff), passive slot (or healing) ult: ballista.

Magicka: 1bar: maybe a class skill, destructive reach, execute ability if class has one, passive slot, passive slot, ult : ele rage
2 bar: wall of elements, enthorpy, soultrap, passive slot (shield or buff), passive slot (or healing) shooting star.

just write that down somewhere and when you get whatever gear you need forget about your class skills, they are NERFED.

Class identity templar: Burn an enemy with a ray of holy fire, dealing x MAGIC DAMAGE
I just find ridiculous to have only 1 fire ability on a sun and purifying theme on a skill line when they are saying in description that it’s sun/fire damage but it’s magic damage at the end. Like warden have a ice theme skill line with almost all ice damage, sorcerer have a lot of shock damage and dk have their own poison/fire damage class identity , where’s templar they should have magic/fire damage

They have this funny idea, where a guy doing 25k is viable because 25k were enough to complete the whole pre-DLC game.
For some reason, guilds would take this guy when every other class does 70k because hey, it's still viable even if not optimal :D
