Opinion: Make stamDK's theme fire and earth again.

Just to be clear, this has nothing to do with how the class is played or balanced, it's just the feeling of identity and immersion.

Though I do understand that poison dragon is a thing, but it is not a thing in TES universe lore.

On top of that, the new change for class identity is now a new stamina based, earth themed skill, which contradict the poison theme.

And when you look at the other classes, there's no need to change from fire to poison for stamDK. Storm element can do both magic and physical damage for Sorcs. Light element can do both magic and physical damage for Templars. Shadows element can do both magic and physical damage for Nightblades. So what's wrong with fire themed skill doing physical damage?

This last bit is strictly personal, but man, I hate these poison theme skills. I thought if I give them a chance, things might turn out differently. But it's been years, and nothing changed. I still hate the 2 poison themed skills (also corrosive armor) because: 1. They look, sound and feel terrible to play with. 2. They don't fit to the rest of the class skills, which are all fire and earth themed.

I know that this might be a selfish request, but as a stamDK main for 3+ years, I sincerely wish ZOS would just change stamDK theme back to fire and earth, and deal physical/bleed damage instead of poison, which is more suited for classes like NIghtblade, Necro or Warden.

    Dragon knight was built as iron and fire, poison is an assassins weapon, it’s not for a huge armoured killing machine with a burning blade and built in flame thrower

    Fire is firmly magicka in this game so that would be bad for stamina build. It would be just as bad to have a stam based fire and magicka based fire. Not to mention the threads asking for a BSW set that provides weapon damage when fire is used.

    Basically no to fire.

    Same. Been thinking of a physical damage stamDK theme that used bleeds and high impact yet visceral direct damage physical attacks, and I'm liking it more and more. Imagine slashing your claw deep into a foe to apply a powerful bleed, while using a bite, wing slash, or tail whip attack as your spammable. With the right animations, it'd look sick as ***.

    If there are multiple threads talking about the same subject, then you know how united the community is, and how ZOS should really look into it, instead of trying to act like a big shot.

    I don't even know at this point. I think quite literally ANYTHING would be better than throwing poop covered pebbles at people. I mean, remember when claws was a spammable? Yeah I hated not having a real spammable back then but..

    It looked cool you know.

    Edit: Actually, I take it back, Claws doesn't just look cool, its one of, if not the coolest looking ability in the whole game for me. If they added a poison spammable, I wouldn't really mind it being poison rather than fire. I think poison can look very cool.
