    I'm sick of nerfs.
    Do you know how many times I saw onslaught on my death recap today?

    I played for 6 hours, and died a lot (I'm distinctly average). Didn't see it once.

    If they nerf everything, no one will ever die. We need to have difficult choices forced on us between various skills, not to be chased from one skill to the next as they nerf the path behind us.

    Nerf onslaught. It is clearly over performing and I know zos knows this, I'm just hoping they are saving the nerf till the end of the pts so it's not timed with the dizzy nerf and it's too late for all the forum bitching to get it unnerfed in a future pts patch.

    Just increase the cost to around 180, decrease the initial damage to be on the same level as DBoS and decrease the duration to 10s.

    Difficult choices? What is so difficult in slotting most OP ult in the game? EVEN MAGICKA TOONS USE IT BECAUSE IT HITS HARDER THAN THEIR ULTS! Onslaught limits those choices to 1, use it or gimp your self.

    I know nobody likes nerfs, but when something is OP there is no other way than nerfing it. I've noticed that "no more nerfs" saying is usually used by people defending OP things when there are no arguments to defend it.

    No other ultimate offers so much offensive power.
    "We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available."
    — They always claim they’re “investigating” the causes, but in reality they’re just waiting until the PC EU players go to bed. Once that happens, you can suddenly log in again and they happily mark the issue as Fixed.

    They need to nerf it at the very last moment, like they did with Mother's Sorrow a while back.

    Magplars use it. Magblade bombers. Magdks... Plenty more than just stam use this ult.

    It's even great with full pet sorc with vamp drain xD

    Because literally everything else has been nerfed to uselessness status so of course people migrate to what's left. At this point they might as well remove ultimates from the game.

    What’s the other morph to this skill? Is there a reason why so few people talk about it to the point I don’t even know what it is? Should a morph be a “no brainer” pick like this one apparently is?

    Bunch of 1 character wonder players here to defend their crutch OP ult. It's a joke.

    How you can sit there and say its fine is beyond me. I use the skill, many use the skill. The skill is broken OP.

    I definitely don’t just play 1 toon, been playing since release.
    I use onslaught and had onslaught used against me, and tell you what, it’s counterable.

    How so? By dodging randomly?

    By LoS ? By healing and not just holding block?
    You’re crying nerf because you hit a 18k on a potatoe that was snipping and had no skills.
    Stop defending the weak.

    Stop defending the crutch? It generally annoys me that people would rather spend all the time defending the stuff they rely on instead of balancing the game.

    The fact a single skill can increase your dmg by 30-45% for 12s is broken no matter how you try to defend it. Thats ontop of its already good enough other effects.

    see, i play CP Cyro only and this skill is not OP. most people know how to dodge or heal through it, many recognized it and CC me right away to get out of my range, and against most CP810, its nowhere near 30-45%. i use combat metrics logs to track my hits and all direct dmg during onslaught active, and on average its definitely not 40%+....

    the skill is fine now that it doesnt affect DoT, and 12 is better than 16 in the original version.

    i mean come on, its such an unused ulti for years... give it some break for a few months...lol

    Just revert to what it was previously, the ultimate refund was a creative mechanic, now they just copy-pasted corrosive armor over it (And slapped a nerf to both, a DOT-focused class has an ultimate that does not buff DOTs, 10/10 logic there)

    So much for "Class Identity" lol.

    You said protection is the only defense to onslaught? What if i told you that i know more defenses to onslaught than protection? I can teach you if you like, did you know that by dodge rolling you can avoid direct damage skills, did you know that by blocking you can mitigate a lot of the damage, did you know that by stunning, snaring and rooting i can ruin their uptime on a 12sec 100% pen burst i mean i dizzy swing with full pen is not enough to kill you and if it is then you probably run to low hp anyways. See, protection isnt the only defense.

    The nerf was the cast time.
    If you haven't learned to press the block button for a split second or roll Dodge when you hear the sound then it's a learn to play problem. Stop bitching at zos cause your a bad player and making them ruin the game

    Ye for real. Anytime a 2h stam boy cc's you just break and roll. Sometimes you get got but 66% of the time they miss. If you're not cc'd it has an audio cue thst gives you ample time to roll or block. Getting hit isn't even a death sentence. Kite, heal, rebuff and engage again after the buff is gone. The skill is pinning down block jockeys and potatoes. React faster... if you can't you deserve to eat it and die.

    atm you can nuke 3-4 ppl and get max penetration for 12 sec is a joke

    Nope.

    It would make sense to limit the penetration to only apply to single target attacks but DO NOT limit it to only effecting the person hit.

    If 1 person is fighting 3 to 4, why are you trying to buff the 4 people? Zergs don't need more buffs.

    You are overblowing issue. If average penetration is 10k and average resistances are 30k, onslaught penetrated like 20k of resistances, which is equivalent to 20k/660 = 30% damage increase. Given the cost, cast time and loud distinctive sound it will be ok for 8-9 seconds (ok, 12 was too much). You still can dodge, maim, cc, block, kite out to counter/reduce onslaught power.
    Actually NB with mace and spriggans and incap have higher damage potential for 70 cost and nobody considers this OP in U23. Issue with onslaught was connected with dizzy, both were too good in U23 and complemented each other. Now both nerfed to the niche abilities. Gratz, when Cyro will be nothing but sorcs BoLing around from charging magplars and glass cannon stamblade gankers, I guess everybody will be happy.

    12k? I hit 18-20k on pvp builds - and one shot patatoes
