like seriously...stop trying to divide the khajiit! we are all the same!

That zone will be a single road with unclimbable ridges on either side.

That narrow point isn't wide enough for both the road and the walls to keep us out of the adjacent zones.

Wow, that does kind of look bad. Why not fill in the Northwest corner with some mountains and a burned husk of a city (the plague got 'em!) and leave the Northeast corner empty for a later patch / mini-zones?

As is, the area between Northern Elsweyr and Southern Elsweyr is too funky-shaped and small for a full fledged zone and a bit too large and goofy to be a mini-dlc zone. A shame... but who knows? Maybe they'll do a triple-threat expansion someday with this area, the Redoran zone with Blacklight, and the House Dres zone with Tear as three mini-zones for the price of one "chapter." Fill in some gaps.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom Do we have any official explanations for this?

This makes the map look really bad, and if we are going to have this kind of design in future as well....man oh man do the world map going to look ugly

I am sure that the reason is that the whole of the remainder of Elsweyr is too large for a quarterly update. They would have to make it all mountains. They might tack on a northern Southern Elsweyr some day, but I doubt it.

I like it. Raid scale (12v12v12) zone sized battleground to control the trade routes from Torval to Corinthe to the outskirts of Rimmen.

Lol. I can see that. The Torval/Corinth zone is shaped like a letter 'Y' with AD/DC/EP on each side.
Maybe we'll finally get the Caravan supply/trade-route PvP raiding feature that players have been asking for for Cyrodiil for the past 5 years. :D
