Stack of "Stagger" may be the most useless thing I have ever heard of... utterly absurd

So the only stun a DK has access to now is fossilize with a range of like 5 feet? Seriously? --- shock reach no longer stuns, stonefist is now worthless, immobilizes are useless because people are always "immune" and now the only way I can even stun anyone is to be right on top of them. There used to be so many ways to play a MagDK, and now you are pretty much saying, "WEAR HEAVY ARMOR, USE THESE ABILITIES, AND EVERYONE PLAY EXACTLY THE SAME" just ruining the game one update at a time.

You don't necessarely need a stunn in pvp, just pull the enemy with the chain (might take a few tries because it rarely works as intended), then put all your DoTs on your enemy before he rolls/ports/cloaks out of range, and watch how you get killed.

Are not DK's by very "class identity" and all that meant to be UP CLOSE and in yo face? Wings comes to mind.....why have them...to get in their face!!

Actually its not a bad thing. They just need other classes to utilize the mechanic as well instead of hard stuns you have to work for it but can synergize with other players.

have you tested it? thats quite a few claims for someone that has not tested it out

I think the problem is more you need to hit them 5 times while the target has no cc immunity. If I understand the skill correctly, any cc immunity from the time between 1 stack to 5 will reset the stacks.

I don't understand why stamDK may need it in PVP, weapons have better spammables then this and on the other side they nerfed to the ground obsidian shard which was an actual decent morph for magDK or hybrid. I really enraged and lost any interest to the game when I saw this.
Playing mostly magblade and stamdk/hybridDK this patch will be another backstab with invitation to go to play templar or warden. To nerf ability to uselessness and call it class identity, this is just an insult.

I'm not relating the damage, just the fact he's talking about something ive had to do for years. (Yeah I know bow is light attacks but who just spams light attacks, might as well says 5x swallow soul weaves)

It's more a joke tbh because they just copy mercy and dilute nb identity, if anything the new bound armaments is more like nb now.
