Not so much that magplar is over performing, but more the change to eclipse is way to good. Sweeps are finally performing like they have always been intended. Prior to fix, you were lucky to land 1 out of 4 sweeps because they were so clunky and slow mechanically in pvp.

To OP, Magden is still quite potent even in small group. You can literally perma stun/immobilize players with maiden. Just because you have a hard time 1vx-ING doesn't mean its not viable anymore.

I would like to see a change to the bear. I don't like it currently. With dive, there has to be a happy medium between now, and when warden was first released.

Yes we are trying to help, and from my point of view a lot of the issues that make solo harder now were the buffs to groups/ all the DoT buffs.

Whats your setup? As all the builds that use to work so well, no longer do

I've tried a lot at this point, from armor master, necro to spinners, necro, 2 piece for stats, 2 piece for defence, diff monster sets ect ect. I even tried curse eaters but that is honestly pointless, 3 randon cleanses? Not working lol.

The one I've had the most luck with is running armor master, necro, and a 2 piece for stats domi/groth, and master inferno/willpower inferno

Front Skills=inner light, shalks, clench, fletcher fly, and netch,
north storm Ulti
Back skills=RAT, trellis, fortress (I think its called? Major resist buff skill), heal ward, and light armor ward.
Heal forest ulti

I've played with using the bird in place of fetcher fly, and trading RAT for the bird of prey for beserk, but solo it's hard to go without reliable snare removal

I'm going to farm VBRP for the restoration and try that eventually.

Have and idea for using the AOE immobilize with shalks, and birds as well rather than a stun

I did just talk with a buddy after this who was on a magden he had running very well tho, he was running double damage sets and 2 piecing plus SnB for resists so I may try that. Nothing like the power Magden did have. It went from A tier to the basement in one patch. Just crazy, onto the next Meta, right? Lol.

Its noteworthy to say after being annoyed by this all day, and not getting any kills(literally died to a werewolf..) I jumped on my mag dk and 1v4ed a group first thing, then switched to stam sorc and mowed people down in the IC event for an hour and a half kill after kill with 2 or 3 deaths. Maybe it's a L2P magden issue for me, but even my buddy who mains it agreed its way harder now, and pre scalebreaker I was killin it on magden

There is no doubt its harder to be a solo MagDen this patch compared to last, the loss of Shock Clench really did hurt us.

In terms of your setup, i dont know how Armor Master is performing now. I use Necro and Bright Throats (as i did last patch as well) with Bloodspawn. I have also seen people use Mighty Chudan (and dropping Ice Fortress) with the Lady Mundus.

How do you guys even make the bear work? I don't play a magden but I feel more threatened by sorc pets than I will ever be by the bear.

I've considered all of these, but we also are getting bombshell patch notes so maybe something good will come of it

Update: Looked over notes, not sure if the changes will help until I test it. funny how magden isn't really mentioned in the new threads. Anyone even care about poor ol' magden?
