Dizzying Swing + Onslaught Too OP= NO SKILLZ NEEDED...

So I decided to not use my Templar

Templar Circle+ Lord Warden...

and got on my other class...

I went in thinking I was Hot Stuff...

I was about to wound up to do dizzying swing over and over again...but then I was flown back and while in the air I was onslaughted...

This was in CP Cyrodil PVP.... So then I was like...wait I am a Freking NB!!!...

I was running a sword n board...with Non-Stealth cloak (stupid idea NEVER get the stupid healing cloak for pvp I was using it some 6 months ago or something when the heals were not nerfed.)

I went to go pull out my trusty hundings rage with Vicious Ophidian... Used some skill points for onslaught...

and it went

Bing, Bing, Stamina back, cloak, NEXT....
Bing, Bing, Stamina back, cloak, NEXT....
Bing, Bing, Stamina back, cloak, NEXT....

Now I am going back and I am going to use this in BGs...I was so stupid Dizzying over and over again...ignoring Execute... all I had to do was hit that Onslaught.. and if they lived...surprise attack them quick... and hope for that crit!!!

Since I can easy drop and get resources back via vicious ophidian and NB technique.. I will probably remove stam recov and start investing either into heavy armor or weapon damage...

Vicious Ophidian is free for all to get in the trials of Craglorn...but the magica version of this set sits behind a paywall...

I always wondered why NBs were all glass cannons.. I was already good at hiding with my crouch technique... the added cloak is even better!!!

I really love NB and the previous changes across the board because it made a complex pvp system that took skills and time in ESO and made me able to just

Bing, Bing, Stamina back, cloak, NEXT....

VO allows me to ignore all stamina recov requirements kinda like a DK with their green dragon blood.. and put it all into weapon damage... infused...

Magica isn't weak...it's just that your best set sits behind elswyr...Crit, Crit, spell damage 8% reduction on magica abilities.

If I ever got my hands on that....man...

Yup, Templar is super unfair advantage in PVP right now. Nearly everyone is being one. Worst I've seen in a while. Way more Plars than there used to be Pet Sorcs....it's very sad they all think they're GodPlars together. Enjoy it while it lasts I guess.

Thing about onslaught is, they gotta be in range.

I also immediately roll dodge after a CC break; and because of major protection and minor main etc; I don't die to a 2 hit combo

I legitimately don't understand the "Templar is broken" thing that has come up after damage over time effects were buffed. The only things that changed about Templar were Solar barrage having its damage reduced by 33% and Vampire's bane losing some of its direct damage for slightly increased damage over time.

Living Dark is certainly annoying to fight against and should get looked at, but other than that I really don't get it; they haven't changed much since Murkmire.

Someone explain op please. I can’t tell. Are they a Nightblade? Are they a Templar? Are they getting killed by onslaught? Or are they a Nightblade who cloaks until they can use onslaught and picks the obvious mage character after all their stamina has been drained by rolling and breaking free?

Help me out here guys, this seems complex.

I haven't noticed much of a change either. Living Dark can be a little annoying... I guess. But if they are overpowered I certainly haven't seen it. I always breath a little easier when I notice it's a Templar wailing on me.

Everyone seems to be ignoring this for some reason. Like they despise templars. The templar class abilities have been GUTTED. Templars have been terribly damaged. Now because people are spamming a couple of stupid moves by ZOS on templars, people want the templar class to be utterly and completely gutted in every way. It's depressing. My main has always been a templar; I hate to say this, but I will lose all motivation to play the game if my templar gets completely nerfed, especially after the damage that has already been done to them.

Jabs now uses the older more terrible camera. Jabs are almost unusable as a spammable. They miss most hits due to their wonkiness when comparing them with other spammables.

Blazing spear has a 42 percent damage reduction. Absolutely devastating.
Solar Barrage is 33 percent weaker. Also terrible.
Purifying light's healing is greatly reduced as well.

My magplar rotation was completely ruined. And now people want the other templar abilities to be destroyed. I want them to be fixed, not ruined.

I went to go pull out my trusty hundings rage with Vicious Ophidian... Used some skill points for onslaught... (has the cheapest bursties ult in game. Uses onslought. Vo=no just no, r u even using impen? Use bone pirate 4 sustain.

Afer getting hit, cc him and then kite 10 seconds then counter ult or just pressure him so much he stays defensive. Block or dodge the dizzys. Running in circles around him helps.

(it depends on how you build your char. Nb has the best mitigation skills in game atm. My nb healer has only 20k resistances but(spec bow +10k effective resistances, dark cloak 5k effective resistances, fear 10k effective resistance from maim.) I was already good at hiding with my crouch technique... the added cloak is even better!!!
Dark cloak is pretty nice. If you want to improve in pvp don't use a class where you can avoid fighting people on a even ground, i only started improving as I went away from 2 shot ting people from Stealth. I recommend stamsorc. The high mobility is pretty fun.
I really love NB and the previous changes across the board because it made a complex pvp system that took skills and time in ESO and made me able to just

Bing, Bing, Stamina back, cloak, NEXT....(my stamsorc has no issues with nb lol)

I've played a lot of BGs lately on multiple characters.

    My observations:
    1. There is noticeable increase in numbers of Dizzy Swing users.
    2. There is somewhat more stamplars than usual but it's not as much as many players claim. In case of magplars, it's the same as usual.
    3. The only thing I have problem with Templars, Dizzy Swing and also Scatter Shot is very unresponsive CC break from knocks.
    4. Eclipse is unneccesarily annoying.
    5. Most stamplars die very quickly. This is caused by mass hysteria "ROLL A PHAKING STAMPLAR, IT'S SOOOO OP RIGHT NOW". They got something in hands they don't understand to and than they wonder why their super OP stamplar doesn't work like in the videos.
    6. Single target dots got buffed but still Dizzy burst combo is the most common thing. Templar class Purge isn't going to cut it. Magplars won't die anyways, they sticked to their good old SnB back bar and spamming Breath while blocking. No Dizzy Swing puppet can break even just a half skilled magplar.

THIS IS NOT A STAMPLAR ISSUE.

Everyone on the forums: Stamplars are so OP, dizzy swing and onslaught is the reason. Somehow Stamplar damage is now OP despite no damage buffs.

I honestly don’t see why this ability needs to be looked at ... I realize you aren’t on the nerf templar band wagon

But this ability has always reflect damage back

The root is no different then talons it’s no more spammable nor does it lock anyone Down longer

It can’t be used more often then as long as it takes for the persons immunity to wear off

So I don’t see how or why I needs to be looked at

In my case I was talking from a PvP standpoint. I should have clarified that in my original post. The issue I have with it is mostly the immobilize frequency coupled with the duration. Living Dark is always active for a duration once it has been cast; alternatively Talons must be cast each time the immobilization effect is desired. As I said however, it is mostly annoying and not entirely game-play altering.

When I said "It should get looked at" perhaps it could have the duration of the immobilize adjusted.

    Just for comparison sake

Both talons and living dark last for 4 seconds

The immobilize on eclipse only lasts 3 seconds opposed to talons 4

You’re immune for the same amount of time til it can be applied again to you

    They are both instant casts

And roughly cost the same talons being slightly less

I just don’t see how one is worst then the other

Maybe up the amount it time of eclipse to 4 seconds immobilize so they match

But otherwise I don’t see them being much different I don’t know why one should be looked at and the other shouldn’t

Honestly when living dark was first shown I honestly would rather it be a point blank aoe root with as large a radius as talons

So to me I don’t want it to work the way it’s working anyway I just worry instead of making it a point blank aoe that it will lose its immobilize all together and templar lose their only decent immobilize

Strange cause my dark cloak magblade is as tanky and powerfull as my magplar. And my magplar is almost unkillable even if I'm faced with two or three enemies. In noCP ofcourse as I don't need crutch points to make my build good.
Thus I am adamant that it's not the matter of templar being OP. It's just that it is quite easy right now to make a good templar build while it takes much more theorycraftring skill to make a good magblade or anything else.
