Anyone know why on Xbox NA there is no cornflower under 500 apiece atm? Ppl always farmed alchemy matts for gold. Did they all retire?

Take a few minutes after logging on and farm one of the small zones. Those tend to be densely packed with nodes.

Only problem is Corn flower is weighted low in the alchemy satchels. You'll get less of it than most other flowers. If they fixed the drop rate in the satchels on it, it would help with the current crazy pricing.

@GusTheWizard the Imperial City DLC is free now. Just buy it from the crown store for 0 crowns, and go spend your TV on alchemy sacks at your convenience.

One of the reasons is because they removed 2 instances of Imperial City which was helping to control the evergrowing prices of flowers. Now when demand on corn flower increased getting it through tel var farm and selling on market is harder and less effective. IC event wont help solev that issue because it's too crowded so farm is impossible.

Oooohhh, OK, yeah that makes sense. With that much TV to spend the alchemy mats would take up loads of bag space.

It's really odd that cornflower is so expensive. Stam is the play anyway for most trials.

Odd for a flower that can be seen at the edge of the view distance to be so rare. Yes, I know it has a strong demand for certain options, the thing respawns on harvest, so the world is always making more. And it is one of the easiest reagents to see.

Alchemy crafting writs could also be a minor reason for the scarcity because some of the lower tier writs require 3 cornflower.
