Oh yeah it can, I have mastered this on xbox controller. It takes hours to get the muscle memory to actually nail the right angle, but it can be done consistently with practice.

I believe I am the only xbox player that can execute this consistently, if you play xbox and would like me to show you how I learned, I could teach you. There are a couple of advanced movement options that can be utilized, just wait until the forums about ledge gliding start to show up lol.

This can only be done on super flat surfaces so if someone did it on a slope then they are using macros and they have no soul.

You just jump while sprinting diagonally. Need to do it on a flat surface. How is that an exploit lol.

It’s takes the same timing and # of button presses as animation cancelling, hence the comparison between the two. The timing between the sprint and the jump is the same as between the skill and the bash weave.

@Thogard I definitely don't use the jump to get around from time to time, mainly in pve land.

But I think i heard somewhere pve endgame raids were abusing it to get high score speed runs or something so they put some form of limitations on it or something. I'm not a tech guy so excuse my simpleton explanations. But I that that is what happened to the guy in the video the amount of times he used it in a row.

To me this means it's an exploit unlike animation canceling which has a mention I'm death recaps or hints or something now.

I don't think you have to worry much using it once or twice, but this dude pulls it off on a hill 3 times in a row. Now maybe he's alot better than I am, I kinda suck but imo if he gets reported alot, along with video evidence like this... I think he should be careful.

Wake up to that ban hammer and that would really suck for him

if you use the macro too often then the server realises you are consistently breaking the speed cap of the game. One of my friends either got kicked and had to log back in or a 1 day ban for exploiting it. I don't remember which one of those he got. Also the nb in the video 100% uses a macro, the fact that it fails sometimes is because it doesn't work consistently 100%, not even on flat ground.

Because it does not work the way you say it, it's more complicated than that but let's assume it's not an exploit, ok? then don't complain when everyone abuses this "feature"

Let's be honest here, MACROers think they are good when MACROs play for them. If ZoS cannot hunt down those who use MACROs then they should remove animation cancelling so everyone plays on the same level

Tired of players (specifically pr0 streamers) that when asked what mouse or keyboard they use they say "razer this" or "logitech that" and CASUALLY all that hardware allows you to program macros. I'll say an uncomfortable truth everyone is aware of: stamina specs due to their nature of being more bursty PLUS the usage of macros have made them top tier for years. Now whoever denies this is a complete ignorant or just lying.

zos doesnt like mechanics that are hard to learn, that will separate good players from bad. ZOS has been lowering the skill ceiling and raising the skill floor for years now, they even said that they did and would continue to do so. The want the good players to barely be any better then the worst players, so players dont need to put any effort into being a good pvper...more money for zos that way, sadbuttrue.

Most streamers dont use macros... but I agree they are stupid that's why I stick to console.
