I played wow myself back in the day so I'm not anti-wow. I was a member on the forums when I played that game years ago.
Now I am playing eso and on the eso forums and I dont expect to see posts about wow. I get it that people will make remarks about other games but not whole posts.
I need you to explain if this is ok and how please.
I don't think it's right to make posts comparing eso to other games.
If this is allowed then I should be able to compare eso to game of thrones or other tv shows as I please without expecting to get my post closed down?
Please explain to me how these forums work because so many other threads get closed down and yet wow ones dont? How do they not break the forum rules?
Why are people deliberately missing my point? Read the question properly and stop trying to berate me.
Thank you .

I guess OP is hoping to have either an off-topic section where the WoW posts are at their rightful place and where one can also post other off-topic stuff then. Or if there is no such place, they should be locked & removed like any other off-topic post.
The OP is missing what most people already told him. The WoW threads aren't about WoW itself. They're still about ESO.Moonsorrow wrote: »Most people seem to miss what OP is actually trying to say.. that WHY it is OK to post about WoW (another game that has nothing to do with ESO) and thus those posts should be closed by forum standard rules, same as you make a post about LoTR or GoT as an example and those get locked because they are off-topic as in not about ESO.

Plenty of people have given actual proof of why WoW does certain things better than ESO. That shouldn't be a surprise, as ESO does some things better than WoW. I really don't get all the hate. Surely the rational stance would be to acknowledge that games have strengths and weaknesses?I do find it entertaining how people have defended WoW with the sad state of quest design there and the horrible graphics not to mention the antiquated combat system. I do realize some do not like change and the nostalgia aspect and that probably sums it up.MartiniDaniels wrote: »You should've probably add CAPS to your bold letters, so it would be more noticeable..
