Yeah, because I was stupid and paid for the 12 month ESO+ a few months back. But you're all still playing it, so it's good enough to play but you just don't want to pay for it, right?

When it runs out, if ESO has not improved to the point of "good enough for me" by the time my ESO+ expires, I'm done here.
I wouldn't exactly call it "forcing". But you would not be very far off, especially if ZOS continues ruining the game at the current rate.So you're forcing yourself to play a game that isn't good enough for you, because you've paid money that you aren't going to get back?

I feel you. My eso+ ran out few days ago. And I did not renew it.
Not worth it for as buggy and broken the game is while zos doesn't do anything to fix it. But keeps filling up crownstore with overpriced garbage and those lame crown trash crates.
So your un subbing because of the "mismanagement " (clearly you live in the clouds if you think you can do better with how corporates work now days) yet you still going to play the game for free as a you know leech. And most likely still complain, hell when I see posts like this I just throw more money at zos cause I know it upsets some people. Issues or not eso is one of the better mmos out there. In the sea of f2p p2w crap we get each year.

LOL, it's your money, do whatever you want with it. The “we don’t like your product” mentality is not helpful in bringing about change unless the company knows what they can do to change it. So I ask all those with all the hate, yet time to post, to bring up specific points on what and how ESO can change to make you feel better.
Re: OG post. I believe you cannot cancel your accidental renewal. I have yet to see any company that would allow you to do that. Make sure you cancel it this time and understand that in the future. From cable, cell phone, Netflix, apps, to almost anything; once you use or have renewed a service you cannot undo it.

I bet that this isn't actually a bug - but a "feature" intended to make you buy skill lines from the clown storehttps://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/491665/warning-you-may-lose-rank-levels#latest
Here is a new bug, quite game breaking to lose your progress and get no help from zos.
