It was fun, until they enforced a static dot rotation for all magicka DPS and ruiend it.

I just wonder how can you guys enjoy repeat same fight over and over and over...
All mechanics almost easy, no new mechanics bringing to game.
I bored after doing same dungeon 5 times.
I am collectioneer myself, so I have each set in game ofc, so I did pve alot.
But day after day, same dungeons, same trials, same mechanics... In pvp at least people may have different behavior.
I was enjoying dungeons in wow recently, but only because of affections like this week trash pacs did 300% damage, next week each MO after death drop aoe that damage you for 10% health sec and heal mobs 30% health sec. Etc
I don't like pve because it's not make me feel any emotes if I did it more then 5 times. And I don't count story and questing as pve. And yes, this is troll thread

The instanced scripted dungeons are boring fast. Old group contested was better.
However... PvE or PvP. It is the people you play with that make it good or bad.

It reads as if you have played the game for some time, achieved your goals and ambitions and are ready to move on. There is nothing wrong with that, I guess the hardest thing is actually making the move.
I am still loving the game, experimenting with a couple of new builds following the recent changes, levelling new alts by playing the content and having them learn their new abilities. I have done some research on armour sets and when they are ready I will go and "grind" for gear. These alts are never going to be best in class; I am doing this for fun.
If it was not fun then I would move on.

there is no reason to explain *why it is fun?*

there are reasons for everyone who finds it fun and vise versa

this question is like *why do you like apples?*

a matter of taste/pesonal opinion and nothing more

Once I beat a vet dungeon and trial a few times I don’t really feel like going back in unless I need specific gear farmed. That doesn’t mean some PVE content isn’t fun but it does get stale imo unlike PvP which keeps me playing for longer (though a lot less nowadays because of the state of the game’s performance.

exact same with pvp except you get a participation reward when you don't kill anything. B)

It isn't fun unless you are super casual so play with a lot of new content.

Which is why for non-casual players games like this basically substitute "rewards" for good (fun) gameplay, but then really that only appeals to Skinner Box zombies.

Which is why the MMORPG genre is in the pitiful moribund state that it is, the gameplay is largely bad (and that includes PvP for different reasons) so the audience is largely limited to very casual players or the Skinner Box zombies, the problem with which is mobile gaming has taken most of those types of players.

So whilst online games that offer actual good, engaging gameplay (mostly PvP) have exploded in numbers over the last decade, to the point some have tens of millions of active players, the MMORPG genre has simply declined.

Tbh threads like these, that are specifically aimed at and targeting certain players to make fun of them, players that just want to express their opinions (justified or not) , should be a bannable offense or at least enough to issue a temporary suspension with a level 2 warning

What does this contribute to the community? More toxic asocial behavior and toilet humor.

The more I play MMOs the more I'm scared what kinds of people sit behind those screens.

Yep just like the anti pvp threads, they should be closed for pitting one group against another.

I bored after doing same dungeon 5 times.

    You're talking about grinding.
PvE includes STORY. There's always something new as long as ZOS keeps updating.

I say anithing about story bud. Story is story, I don't count its as pve, cuz story can does everyone, it's not kinda "competetive" (if you even can say competetive about eso pve mechanics, nuff said about tick tock trials that can make only few constant raid, but you get my point)
Story is story and its beautiful. But it's not count as pve.

So....following the story and doing the story quests doesn't count as pve. Huh???? Oh, I see. In *your opinion* it doesn't count as pve. Player versus Environment, not Player versus Player....

If pve isn't Player versus Environment [npcs, critters, bosses], then what is pve, in your opinion?

See, the "tick tock trials" isn't, imo, pve. Neither are "constant raids", which is what? pledges? The story quests are pve. I'm playing the story, not dealing with possibly hypercompetitive trash talking uberleet whatevers. I'm not competitive and haven't got the slightest interest in whether or not my character can win a fight with someone else's character. I have no interest in grinding levels as fast as possible. I *do* want to play the story and find out what happens, and whether the quests will play differently for my stamdk than it will for my magicka sorcerer and pets, or my templar, or nightblade, or necromancer. The mechanics of the fights might be the same, but my sorcerer isn't going to use the same skills as my dk. Much for fun for me, in my opinion, than dealing with the munchkins, gankers, and less than mature players one encounters with player versus player.
