Da hell they do to my wings!?!!!! Leave for a few months and they clipped em' the ***. So what do DK's do now for defense from bows and ranged Sorc attacked? Just bend over and let them in the back door or what ha?

I dont really care enough to argue but that skill was around from day 1, it doesn't suddenly become OP 4 years later

I play Dk as well and it was op, could completely shut down casters, which means it was very difficult to be stunned etc.

Plus dont forget, zos want every class to basically be the same just with different names skills and slightly different animations, but effectively will always do the same thing

Yea they been going that direction for a long time. Thats what happens when huge corporations are resonbilble for creative development.

A little overwhelming coming back after this Elsweyr patch. Too many changes to keep track of.

Unless you got it double barred spamming it, casters are not shut down.

With wings I’d still lose to good mag sorcs and mag blades so that argument is tough to make. Why is cloak a thing if it “shuts down” my dots when they click the button?

Having no reflect sucks but wings are still very effective with practice. Now we get 6 seconds of 50% damage mitigation from ranged attacks, and I'm pretty sure it applies to more than just projectiles.

The only adjustment I needed to make was blocking ranked CCs.

Also, with enough damage, you can kill bow users and casters with dragon fire scale. I've killed multiple people with those for balls since you'll send 2 their way a second if they are weaving

It was indeed completely OP against anyone who fought with exclusively ranged, reflectable skills for as long as the DK could spam wings.

There was a solution, of course, but strangely enough, no one wanted to give up their reliance on builds that exclusively used ranged, reflectable skills.

It used to shut down bad players that relied on simple rotations. Though in the case of NBs it was necessary to include strife as an unreflectable option.

For the rest it was quite balanced. Imagine that after wings, ZoS nerfed Destro reach, which wasn't a thing when wings used to reflect.

You know me. I know you. I main MagDk. You live in the forums trying to get ZOS to nerf every skill in MagDk’s tool kit...when you ain’t trying to get ZOS to nerf anything that gives that lil Sorc you got troubles.

As for what I run, only 2 other people running what I’m running and I’m not telling YOU because you’ll try to get it all nerfed lol. Say you wouldn’t lol.

IF you’re 1vXing ANYBODY, and IF you call running and streaking for 15 minutes before you get your burst off on someone whose CHASED your track star for 15 minutes 1vXing, it WAS NOT UNTIL you spent and AWFUL lot of time in the forums campaigning for nerfs to an ability that’s been in the game since beta.

Bad players crutched on OP wing reflect for too long. I feel that they should have tweaked the reflect instead of reducing damage taken though.

That was the class identity of dk, it’s what added to the tank play style of both mag and stam dk.

Funnily enough I’ve also fought Ozazz, as magdk v magsorc duel. I beat that dude so many times in a row past at least 7+, all of it without wings. He complains a lot about dk being broken, but really his skill level is of an average skilled sorc. Ozzaz, you really got to stop hating on dk, it used to be a lot stronger back then when we were getting 8-9k whips against any mag build. Dk in this state has no sustain or real damage.

Wings were under-performing, but still usable in Elsweyr, but now they are completely useless. All you think about is how to outheal dots, snares and projectiles are just a minor inconvenience.

You are saying sorcs received more nerf in this game to the guys that play the class that used to crave on dynamic ulti generation for sustain?

Dk has received more nerfs than any other class in this game. Dk was a class that years ago used to be played in a different way compared to how it is played now, while sorc is still played as day one. That means that sorc were really, really well designed while DKs... ZoS has no idea on what to do with DKs outside permablocking (oh, another nerf to playing style), melee (oh, another nerf) or attrition (do I continue?)

Take them off your bar again because they are now crap yet again because range builds l2p didn’t know how to time there stuns to there burst.
If you say it reflected you your cc sorc and nigtblade both has unreflectable cc
