Hi everyone,
"We wanted to give you another update. As mentioned earlier this morning, we are testing a fix for the game crash that many of you are currently experiencing. If the fix passes testing, we are looking to move up the incremental patch to this weekend. We want to get this fixed as soon as possible, and are doing everything in our power to expedite the process. We'll keep you updated as we have more info. Thanks again for your patience".

PvP is not playable at this time. For those that PvP, there is little difference between shutting it down and trying to play.....but less frustration if it's shut down and being worked on. It was idiotic from the start to put PvP and PvE on the same server physically.

Why wait? ZoS devs are maybe the least competent MMO devs and maybe the least competent in the video game industry(AAA) in general. They can't fix basic stuff. For every bug they fix, they code five new ones in.We all paid for the game and lot's of people pay subscription for extra advantages. Why let all of us hanging till monday to resolve the crash issue?
We assume that ZoS is capable of doing so. What if they're not?fastolfv_ESO wrote: »emergency patching is something every mmo deals with except eso, and thats a bad sign. Every single other mmo in existence would bring the servers down for a few hours no matter what time it was, patch the thing, and move on. Who cares if it inconveniences a few people it needs to be fixed. This is why ESO will forever be known as the most bug ridden poorly managed mmo to ever exist, its a lesson to every creator out there how not to fail

If they cannot hotfix it they do not want to bring down the servers. People actually complain about maintenance, especially outside of normal times. They do not care about what is being fixed.
