Yeah, I'm sure the 5% or so of the playerbase, who actually comes to these forums, will get right to it. XD

How exactly are you going "force them to kill or fix the game"?

What pressure are you going to put on them? Are you going to picket in front of their headquarters? Form a protest at the conventions?

Surprisingly enough - rant threads on the forums inciting anger from the 2% of the player base that come here and are already pissed off isn't gonna get it done.

File a report with the BBB(in the US) and get the ball rolling from there. If enough people start using that resource as a tool of change Bethesda should have to start to pay attention. BTW, its ZeniMax Media, Inc. for those wondering who to file a report against.

Maybe the GamesCom visitors should put the whole situation on the big bell, make a little loud attention to it. Direct confrontation and not the fair usual slime. :)

I don't think ZOS is not trying to improve the game. They tried to communicate better for a while, and put emphasis in recent live shows at E3, QuakeCon etc. that they do care about the community.

    Don't think they are lying.

It's just.... they mess up so many basic things, they seem to be very disorganized and/or understaffed... Or maybe their internal organization is dysfunctional and Zenimax Media is pulling too many strings and don't want to listen (read: focusing too much on revenue).

Even if that's so... They should definitely manage their communication and their community MUCH better.

The real pressure on them would be to stop playing, stop paying for subscription and crownstore items, and stop the influx of new players... That would bring attention high up to the case.

Would you achieve what you want? Not so sure. They would most likely try cost cutting first, and you would get even less people trying to fix the game and deal with community, and you would get even worse server performance.

As long as they will find a new balance that still generates revenue, the game will live.

We've also been saying that the game is dying or dead EVERY patch. So far neither one has happened - so who is wrong?

"What is dead may never die"

    Couldn't resist.

Game usually runs pretty good outside of Cyrodil. So this isn't a problem with the game generally. It's a Cyrodil issue specifically.

They just need to upgrade their sever capacity so they can handle larger groups of players. That or reduce the polygon count or something. I do agree with the sentiment of this thread though that something needs to be done to improve the performance in Cyrodil. Sometimes it can be near unplayable.

That is not what he's saying.

He's saying it's a faulty product, which needs fixing and like any other product, if the manufacturer found they couldn't fix it, they would have to destroy it.

There is no reason to believe they couldn't fix this game and foresee obvious and recurring issues, if they really wanted to and/or people made sure they were made to in accordance with consumer law, so stop panicking.

On the other hand, while people tolerate things, manufacturers tend to just let problems drift, because it's cheaper and easier to do so.
