For Solo 1vX there is no competition for StamNB.
If you consider 1v1 and / or group settings, there are alot that can be discussed.
But against 2-4 opponents, in ie. a Battleground? If played equally skilled (on the different classes), against lesser skilled opponents (which is required for any 1vX), i do not see any class beating the K/D Ratio that a StamNB can get.
The key is the survivability and noob-frustrating power of Cloak.
At least that is my experience, playing mostly StamNB, StamSorc and StamDK.
Your nuts. Your chances of winning in a battleground go down for every stamblade on your team. Idk why they even queue.
Looking at enhancing the BG team and being effective in BGs, how would you order the stam classes?
In general I think it is like this: Stamblade / Stamsorc, Stamdk / Stamden, Stamplar, Stamnecro.
For stam, stamblade and stamsorc are the obvious best 1vx classes out there for the simple reason they can escape whenever the hell they want if played right. In some situations with a lot of AoE and detect pots I think stamsorc even comes out on top.
katorga IMO for BGs now (group play):
1- Stamina Templar because of their improved healing and purge.
2- Stamina Warden, because it can be tanky, bursty, and it provides plenty of group healing.
3- Stamina Necromancer -- AoE Major Defile and Major Vulnerability are too good.
4- Stamina Dragonknight -- Previously one of the best classes at off-healing, now much more selfish. Yet very strong and fun to play.
5- Stamina Sorcerer -- Selfish playstyle, but very mobile and burst-oriented.
6- Stamina Nightblade -- Only shines in the CTR and Crazy King game modes imo.
My personal favourites are StamDK and StamSorc despite that.

Your heals are actually less this update on a stamplar, not more. For multiple reasons. And I’d put stam necro all the way at the bottom, because I’ve yet to see one that actually kills someone outside of their ult.
Edit: it’s unlikely to achieve these healing numbers without actually building for it this update, unless you’re in a dragged out fight.

How many wardens/DKs/sorcs/templars/NBs have you seen killing someone competent outside of their ults?
Just pls be honest and don't count stamdens subassaulting on cool down, while the rest of their premade tripple-ult poor pugs, or when a stamsorc dizzy-swings a poor potato to death - stamnecro can easily achieve the same.

Making it about competent players is pretty irrelevant since fights are bound to get dragged out regardless of class between competent players.

Nonetheless I’ve seen the other classes get kills without dropping an ult, that was the point.

I have a story for you.
Once I was running a BG as a bow/2h stamcro, and met a magsorc. He was around 40 CP, had no food up, and started running away as soon as he seen me. I used poison injection -> draining shot -> snipe, and he died (no ult here). Maybe that's the situation you are so desperately looking for, when stamcro gets a kill outside of colossus/bash spam.
