Resetting the server would screw over players who completed content over that time period which will result them losing progress and even items from their inventory which they earned. Not a good idea. I do believe ZOS should do something about this but server reset seems like a bad idea.

See plenty of people who sell it for around the normal price. The biggest issue is actually that a lot of big guilds didn't get their trader. So if people avoid buying ridiculously overpriced stuff and they get their traders back again, things will settle.

The only fair solution is rollback and refund for wasted time, but ZOS os not a company that cares for clients opinions or satisfaction.

A rollback would only work if it was done within like one hour. After that too much have happened to too many people and would only make the mess bigger everywhere. At least now it's restricted and will settle, but a rollback? The result would be madness with even more people being angry because of everything they lost.

What will prevent the people who got billions of gold from the exploit to just buy our and likeminded people their 4k mats? They have free gold to do it with.

Even people who didnt get gold out of the bug will buy the mat for 4k and resell it "cheap" for 15k.

What you want would require almost everyone on the sever go along with your plan. That just wont happen.

Anybody who has played MMO’s knows how important gold is for the economies of the game. Developers will even shut down the game to fix the problem. Fallout was a disaster and the exploits ruined what could have been a great game. ESO has been going downhill and with this current problem, and the lack of concern by Zos, I do not foresee it rebounding.
