That would entail spending resources on improving performance rather than creating a carebear version for PvErs to look at the shrubbery.

Dragon break plot thing for allowing 2 timeline cyrodiils.

An escalated daedric playground alliance war cyrodiil... and the war recovering cyrodiil.

The crazy things game makers can do with that plot. Let the madness begin!

The main thing is we tend to want to see new zones as there is much in Tamriel we have not seen in ESO. This idea is basically seeing the same zone.

Further, it does not make sense to have two Cyrodiil's and I doubt Zos is ready to scrap the current one.

A Cyrodiil Chapter would be great, but not the PVP area of Cyrodiil.
The Gold Coast DLC is also technically Cyrodiil.
There is also a massive patch of Cyrodiil that is currently unavailable, and Varen's Wall/gatehouse in the Gold Coast near Kvatch leaves that area open for further exploration in the future, especially since one of Elsweyr's main antagonists hails from that region.
Skingrad, anyone?! Skingrad is a massive city located west of Castle Brindle, east of Kvatch, and south of Chorrol.

The Imperial City Arena idea actually sounds pretty cool but overall a PvE Cyrodiil wouldn't make sense lore-wise (how is there a PvP Cyrodiil and a peaceful, rebuilding Cyrodiil at the same time?) and I personally want more focus on addressing PvP server performance/lag at this time than completely reworking the entire zone to be catered towards just PvE'rs. No point in playing content if you can't enjoy it in the first place.

Overall, ideally, I would fix the lag in cyrodiil before doing literally nearly anything else

PvErs get a new zone every 90 days.

PvPers have received just two ecpansions since beta: Imperial City and Battlegrounds.

It's getting tiresome having to point out every week that PvE has an enormous advantage over PvP.

Now you can buy your damn Cyrodiil skyshards. Stop whining.

Did you miss the part where I suggested an arena cattered for PVPers? Hey I'm totally for a battle royale mode for ESO PVP. This is not about "carebearing" but make better usage from a big waste of space. You won't lose literally anything, so why you think will be taken away? Also I'm entirely for the PVP portion of the Justice System to be restored.

Leave Cyrodiil alone. The entire game is PvE content.
You can PvE in Cyrodiil, too. There are plenty of dead, low-populated campaigns and servers where you can circle the entire map and not run into a single person...
Cyrodiil doesn't need any more instances and copies of itself. It is low-populated enough at all hours of the day, already.

The game already gives us conflicting timelines, if you defeat Molag Bal that game still presents certain places as if he hasn't been, and thanks to 1T you can deal with the consequences of a murder that hasn't happened yet (to give but one example). And since time travel occurs so often there'd not only be justification, but in-game justification, such as a series of quests to supplement the PVP version of Cyrodiil given by the Psijic Order to ensure history isn't damaged by "fixing" things with victories by your faction (e.g., get X alliance points and you get a bonus for helping preserve history).

Nah. Cyrodil is too big and empty to be a fun PvE zone and if they did try to fill it out wall to wall with quests and whatnot, the zone will just be too laggy. Just keep it in PvP hands. We don’t need it.

I'd love to have more Cyrodiil. The Imperials barely get any content and the Oblivion nostaliga is lacking. But there is still a lot of Cyrodiil on the map we don't have. Could go with that instead for a Cyrodiil chapter.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

No. Cyrodiil is a war zone. And above all, it is TOO BIG for a chapter.
It will be especially Colovian Estates (with Sutch, Skingrad and maybe Sarchal) and Nibenay (Bravil and Leyawiin).

Not opposed to the idea but have no interest in paying full chapter price, for a zone that just needs a few changes.

Don't think we will ever get spellcrafting, honestly don't think, they would be able to implement it in a way that would still be enjoyable after they try to balance it.

All they have to do is make one extra campaign of Cyrodiil and the Imperial city, with no PVP, no way to earn Alliance point or Tel var and no resource nodes in it, for all the PVE players that want to explore Cyrodiil without bothering with PVP, just get the quests done clear the zones PVE stuff and collect their Skyshards never to return afterwards.

Add that and these threads will stop appearing.

That seems like a lot of ZoS resources to be spent on a DLC that is a rework of an existing DLC to pander to a limited number of players, when that art, story, coding, and development time could be spent on a DLC that everyone could enjoy.

Not to mention it has all the hallmarks of a sales flop: Cyrodiil is base game for everyone; the market for players willing to pay for duplicate content would be very small relative to the market for new, fresh content; and it would be a marketing challenge to convince the press and the investors that publishing duplicate content is a smart revenue move.

All in all, carebear Cyrodiil is bad for business.

"We want PvE Cyrodiil" threads are getting more tricky these days.

One thing. How the heck you would like to explain having PvE Cyrodiil where nobody fights each other, and simultaneously having Alliance War in other instance of Cyrodiil? Multiverse? Because as for now ZOS is trying to have at least all zones pretty consistent.

The same way bleakrock is only invaded if you do the quest and there can be player in both version of bleakrock at the same time

I cant see why it could not be the same for cyrodill when you need to queu for it
