New patch, new gear. Can we get an increase for gold tier drops for the solo player?

No, what you are actually asking for is to screw those of us who farm and trade so you can have a cheaper more easily obtained supply.

You would take from one player to give to your self. We all have the same chance and methods to get golds. Either farm more or buy them. I have no problem having enough golds, I have stacks to sell, feel free to buy some.

I'm pretty sure at this point the OP is mainly talking about Gold Jewelry mats. Then again it'd be nice if people like you, who claim to have stacks sitting around, would list them at not so bank breaking prices. The average joe player doesn't have millions lying around collecting dust, I've seen many players say they emptied almost their entire balance just to gold out some gear.

Mostly jewelry, but I liked previous iterations of the game where gold mats were easier to acquire before the trade guilds and community put a damper on solo play.

I think its very unnecessary to gate basic things like upgrade mats behind an entire trade system.

Id like to see them become easier to acquire.

They're already ridiculously easy to acquire, even for a strong, independent solo player who don't need no community.

If that's too hard you, well, tough luck.

Im thinking like a solid 10:1 ratio. My time is bloody precious.

If your time is so precious, maybe you should buy crowns, sell them for gold and buy the mats in no time.

Playing the game should be the norm for getting there, not being a wallet warrior.

And it is the norm. And it doesn't take any ridiculous amounts of time some people are saying in this thread.

Do you not read? I want an increase in drop for gold upgrades for raw materials. Yes, it does take an insanely long time.

    No it does not.

Yes, it does for those of us who do not live on our sofa.

I got over 1.5k units of each gold material (besides jewelry where I have around 150 platings)
And that by just doing crafting writs every day on multiple chars / do crafting surveys / buying cheap stuff and reselling.

And that takes up way more time then it needs to.

IDK, 18 chars crafting writs is like 45 minutes a day, crafting surveys I do like once a month which take an hour and listing stuff and checking traders for good deals takes me 5 minutes a day max.
On average its not even a whole hour per day, and with how boring ESO is atm its the only thing that I log on for, pre-investing time for future patches.
If you wanna have everything and do nothing for it (ingame) either spend real money and sell crowns or just go play on the PTS :) youre gonna have an infinte supply of gold materials there without ever having to do something for it.

Sounds like you are describing household chores not a gaming experience.

I guess people here are unemployed or have no life outside of this game.

I also guess time management is hard for some, hell if I know.

Salaried 50 hours a week min, teach people how to fix nuclear power plants. I also rehearse for dinner theaters in the evening, typically 6 to 8 hours a week. I still find time to play and have made myself pretty darn rich in this game.

I think you might need to work on your time management.

Your time spent in this game is getting gold materials.

Im not interested spending my playtime on making myself, "pretty darn rich".

I have 6 maxed toons currently at CP 1085 and all max cragters in all crafts, have all skillpoints and completed nearly all dungeons and enough trials to have a clue. Master Angler on one toon. Also have completed the entire story line on two characters. I rotate what my focus is in the game.

I made 1.5 million gold just from running vMA for 4 or 5 days during this event.

You can farm 1 million gold in 20 hours on PC/10 hours on console just by collecting mats.

1 million gold lets you upgrade 3 full sets of gear to gold (on PC).

If your goal is to upgrade 1 set of gear, you can literally do that with a single afternoon of grinding.

I do not understand why you do not get that.

I get gear, I see what I can do to upgrade it and use it in PvP, I do not care about any of that content.

Im interested in expediting my process and it being a benefit for other solos.
