Hi all, so I don't know if you saw the Ravaging changes, but they aren't bad. Theres just a slight issue.
(2) Adds 833 Weapon Critical
(3) Adds 1206 Maximum Health
(4) adds 129 Weapon Damage
(5) Each time you attempt to reduce the target's physical or spell resistance, you gain a stack of ravager for 5 seconds, increasing your weapon damage by 125. You can gain a stack every 1 second. At 4 stacks the duration doubles but cannot be refreshed.


I like this change, but I think the time should have been altered for (5)

Ie: When you attempt to reduce the targets physical or spell resistance you gain 125 weapon damage for 15 seconds. You can gain a stack every 1 second, however the time deteriorates.
1 stack = 15 seconds
2 stacks = 12 seconds
3 stacks = 10 seconds
4 stacks = 8 seconds

What do you all think? I was thinking about it and I thought this change would be good, but it only benefits really one skill, sword & shield and maybe DK. What I think this type of change could do is add flavorful play, but also make the set useful on all classes giving them the ability to get better windows. I can't imagine a Templar spamming POTL to stack this..

    I agree it's too short considering how often one would want to apply armor penetration. It seems entirely geared towards sword and shield now. I know Templars would never spam power of the light unless they're specifically aiming for this, as recasting it doesn't inflict the copied damage earlier -- it entirely drops it.

    As for how long each stack should last... 7 seconds at a minimum, so POTL can go off, but beyond that I can't say. Your decreasing stack time is interesting, giving leeway for getting a couple stacks but reducing uptime on max power, however I shant debate it; I've come to just trust devs in creating a solution. They know how far the envelope can be pushed, we don't.

    Apply PotL - weave:Crusher enchantment - combat - 4sec after - weave, the last PotL should have 1 more sec when the enchantment bursts - Apply PotL, enchantment should have 2 sec left - combat - weave - Apply PotL. Rinse and repeat to the highest stack.

    Edit: infused enchantment.

    Good thinking, but in PVP this requires you to swap to backbar a lot more to make sure you get that enchant off, you usually have poison front bar

    I mean.. I have not been able to try it, but I had an idea of just using Caltrops for the armor debuff to proc the set. PvE stuff.

    Caltrops gives full stack in 5s, I tested it only on PTS though.

    Wrong, ZOS always uses ideas from the forums, they consider it. Most combat designers do, this long "I don't think they listen" is a load of cr** lol

    SA doesn't give that anymore, that was removed. Nvm, it was just nerfed. And possibly, the issue is the time frame is very low.
