ring of preservation confusion, did the healing get increased when the duration got reduced?

Ring of Preservation (morph):
This morph is now a “kiss-curse” option that comes at the price of the rune.
The rune now lasts 8 seconds instead of 20 seconds.
Reduced the healing by approximately 4% per tick to retain the same healing per second for the total cast.

i think no right? they just trimmed off 12 seconds and left the stam cost the same

It’s hard to keep track of the PTS changes, but it didn’t heal before on live so the healing’s a new mechanic.

yeah i think compared to the previous pts patch iteration it just got crushed, probably reduced the healing per second because maybe casting triggers a tick and we will get an extra cast 500 heal tick every 16 seconds... which would be kinda a ridiculous attention to detail when its already getting 12 seconds taken off of it with nothing to make up for it. But maybe im interpreting the note wrong.
