Just wanted to give ZOS the heads-up now ... since the PC patch drop is still two weeks away.

With all the skill changes happening this patch, the playerbase would really benefit from a free or one (1) gold respec option.

Please ZOS?

Last time it was a one gold respec with a 7-day window ... which was perfect.

Thanks, ZOS, for the consideration!

    I would say a few golds won't hurt a bit. ;)

Free stuff is nice but I didn't realize we were that bad off to where we need handouts because that respec at the shrine is too pricey >:)

DAoC did this when they significantly changed skills. It costs me $13k to respect my main. I only PvP and can’t really afford to respec that often.

We bought skills. Some of the skills have been damaged by ZoS. They ought to let us return them.

I'll never understand the people that are against free respecs after major changes. Why is it bad? Does it hurt you in some way to not pay the gold?

They did it on Morrowind so it might be likely that they do that, yes.

Zos has provided the 1 gold respect when they did major changes as well. Considering Matt Firor came from DAoC it makes sense that both do it similarly. BTW, Matt is the reason Cyrodiil is like it is as well.

No it's not if you have 1 character but if you have 18 of them and they cost 10k to respec per character that's still 180k. For me that's not a lot but for some players that might be.

13,000 Dollars seems a little bit excessive. You must be wasting a lot of crown respec scrolls ...

I would also like to see the return of the 1 gold respec for a week or two after the update. My characters needed some tweaking after the last patch--they will need a lot of tweaking after this one.

this would be very nice. most people aren't using the new skills yet anyway so you either need new skill points or to remove some. I don't usually spend enough to do the full skill respect- on my main it's about 20k. morphs only 2k. you can unmorph skills you won't need to get 1 skill point cheaper than paying 10x as much for 2.

I'd rather see a system that allows separate CP and skills allocation when in a PvP environment. I like PvPing on my PvE main and paying thousands of gold each day is unsustainable.

If you only pvp and not in a trading guild you will have no gold to respec it needs to go down to 1g a skill point so it’s less than 500g.
Remirphing should only cost per ability morphed not the cost for all just saying not just for updates but all the time why should you pay 1200+gold to change one abilities morph

The cost isn't the problem in my eyes if you are talking one or two changes. The problem for most people will be requiring to respec 4-5 times per toon. A casual player (which I am not) may have trouble getting that together. That could actually get expensive at no fault of ours. This would actually be nice for newer players or people that need to reset of few times to get where they want to be. Some people may need to respec alot to figure out all these changes and how they affect them.

Make it have little to no cost for a short period like other large changes in the past.

As for the costs on a normal basis it should stay the same (or even more if you ask me). Gold costs on little things like this are good for the overall economy and reinforce the RPG aspect of commiting to your character and build.

Gold expense vs gold income is jacked up in this game. You can't even keep your head above water unless you do boring gold earning activities outside of the core game.

Oh man that would make me so happy, I also PvE and PvP on my main going back and forth multiple times a day.

Between skill respec, attribute ( yeah I also switch from stam and mag ), and cp, my gold is dwindling down, down, down.

At least make skills charge per skill changed, that would help at least... A little.
